Sally the cleaner

As both my wife and I work, we’d agreed years ago to have a cleaner - just to make life easier and so that we could spend our weekends doing fun things together rather than cleaning the house! After trying several different cleaning agencies a friend recommended Sally to us.

As ever, my wife did the initial contact and meeting, sorting out arrangements and schedule. I was just told we had a new cleaner, and to look out for her. I didn’t even know what she looked like.

At first Sally came on days when I was in the office, and she’d been working for us for about two months without me having ever seen her. Just the occasional whiff of perfume that wasn’t my wife’s hanging in the air when I got home from work.

That all changed a couple of weeks ago. My wife told me that Sally was going to start coming on a Monday morning, and that she’d told Sally that I worked from home so as to not surprise her (or me) when she let herself in!

So there I was, sat at the desk in my home office when I heard keys in the front door, followed by clicking off footsteps, then the office door opened.

“Alright love, I’m Sally” was what she said, but the words didn’t sink in. Stood in front of me was a short, slim brunette. Tight leggings, tight vest top barely containing her enhanced chest, pink swollen lips, big hoops in her ears. In short, a complete chav - if she’d been chewing gum, she’d have been the perfect image of a stereotypical chav, even down to the fake tan that gave her a slightly too bronzed look.

I swallowed hard, was I staring? My brain whirled, she’d said something, “um……I…..hi” I stumbled, then coughed as if to clear my throat. “I..erm….I’m Chris” I coughed again. Sally smiled and said “it’s a nasty cough, probably dust in here, I’ll make sure it’s clean - if I’m not disturbing you?”

I smiled weakly, “nah, you’re fine, I can move rooms if I’m in your way Sally”. She turned and disappeared out of the office, leaving a waft of far too strong a perfume behind her. Oh my! What a contrast to my churchy timid wife.

Perhaps I should give some background, I turned 50 earlier this year, I’ve been married for over a decade and with my wife for nearer 20yrs. I’ve never been too confident around women - I was in my twenties before I lost my virginity, and my total body count wouldn’t need more than fingers on one hand. That doesn’t mean I don’t look and admire other women, but I don’t have the confidence to make an approach. And anyway, I’m married, how the heck could I engineer anything even if I wanted to, we spend pretty much every evening together, so to suddenly be going out would be such an obvious red flag.

But none of that is probably relevant to the reader. They just want to know more about Sally.

Well, that first day, I heard her singing to herself and worked out she was on the stairs opposite the door to my office. I thought up a spurious reason to pop my head out the door, and……oh my! Straight across the hall from me was Sally, bent over, dusting the skirting on the stairs. The fabric of the tight leggings pulled to the point where it was almost transparent. I could even see the outline of a tattoo on one pert cheek. And it was obvious she was wearing a thong. The spurious reason for sticking my head out vanished, and instead I just stared. “Oh hi” she said, noticing me stood in the doorway “does it look good?” I blushed red and spluttered slightly, and she laughed “the staircase, silly, I’ve polished the woodwork”

“I….yeah….lovely” I stumbled over my words. For fuck sake man, get a grip I screamed inside my head. “I was just going to put the kettle on, can I make you a cuppa?” I asked.

I busied myself making us both a cup of tea, wondering why being around this younger chav was turning me from an articulate middle aged man into a stumbling incoherent idiot. A waft of perfume and the soft padding of bare feet barely preceded Sally as she came into the kitchen “just grabbing some more bleach” she said “I find cleaning the shower easier when I take my shoes off and get inside”

I looked down at her petite little feet, perfectly bronzed like the rest of her, with bright red painted toenails, a ring on one toe of each foot, and a tattoo of what looked like a daisy across her left foot. I wouldn’t have described myself as a foot man, but I couldn’t get the thought of kissing those pretty feet out of my mind. I could clearly imagine dropping to my knees and kissing them. Her voice snapped me back to reality “I don’t suppose you’ve got a biscuit to go with the tea?” I blinked hard, the vision of kissing her feet fading “oh….um…..yeah, in the cupboard behind you, on the upper shelf”

She half turned, opening the door and reaching up on her tiptoes, she fished out a packet of digestives. Those pretty feet, stretched up, arches exposed. And her legs, slim and tight, a hint of flat tummy exposed as she reached up, and oh my, those fabulous fake tits so full and perky. Her voice snapped me out of another inappropriate stream of thought “sorry Sally, what did you say?”

She grinned, “want one with your tea too?” She waggled a digestive at me. “Yeah, thanks” I mumbled. “Shall I put them back?” She pointed at the packet, and I nodded, and again enjoyed the view as she stretched to get them back to the high shelf. What was wrong with me, perving over a younger chav like a dirty old man. What if she noticed and said something to my wife. I grabbed my tea and scuttled back to my office.

I sat the desk in my office, my mind whirling with images of perfect little feet; gravity defying fake tits; plump pink lips; and little tattoos. Definitely not the sort of lady I’d have tried to chat up, or described as my ideal date or even described as attractive if anyone had asked, and yet here I was stroking my stiffening cock whilst thinking about what I’d seen.

They then both got in the car and drove away.

The shock of Sally looking right at the camera had shaken me out of arousal. I sat in the toilet for a bit after she left, before I headed back down to my home office determined to get some work done. But when I sat down at my desk, I spotted a post-it note that hadn’t been there before. It just said “naughty boys get what’s coming to them”. I swallowed hard. Obviously a message from Sally, but what did it mean. How had she worked out what I’d done. Then I noticed the light on the monitor was on. I moved the mouse and there was the conference call still connected with the camera still active. She must have knocked the power button whilst dusting. With my wife working in a school, the no-phones policy meant I rarely heard from her during the day. Plenty of time for me to stew on my own paranoid thoughts and worries. Fortunately some work meetings filled some of the time, not letting me spend too much time wallowing in the what-if. I was in a call when my wife, Kathy, got home, she waved at me from the office door and blew kisses. Phew, clearly nothing had been said to her. Well, not so far.

When my call ended, my wife appeared with a cuppa for me, and the normality of domestic life resumed. Apart from a question of “was Sally ok, had I been nice to her” Hmmmm, good question I thought to myself.

Later, in bed after Kath had fallen asleep, my thoughts turned to what had happened and what I’d seen. I couldn’t help but compare the woman snuggled in my arms to the one who’d danced around my office. Kath is a year older than me, brunette, and very pale - she doesn’t tan well so stays out of the sun. And she’d never consider fake tan - and certainly never over-apply it like…well, like a chav, like Sally. I slept soundly, waking only when the alarm went off. Tuesday, and an in-office day. That meant dragging myself out of bed, being dressed and commuting like a normal worker. But it also meant the distraction of colleagues, normal life and my normal world revolving around work, eat, sleep and repeat. Tuesday merged into Wednesday into Thursday. Then it was Friday, and although I worked from home, I was so busy that I didn’t stop to think. In fact I didn’t really think about anything until Sunday. In church. When the vicar talked about forgiving sins, and told us “take a quiet moment to contemplate your own sins in the last week” and the first thing that came to mind was a deep cleavage, a fake tanned deep cleavage, a tattooed tanned deep cleavage. And those pretty toes with their red painted nails. Kath nudged me, startling me, everyone else was standing up to sing the next hymn, and I was still sat thinking about Sally.

After church, back home with a cuppa, the content of the post-it note came back to me, naughty boys get what’s coming to them. Oh my, how had I forgotten that? Tomorrow was Monday, and Monday meant Sally would be coming to clean. My stomach lurched. Clearly her note hadn’t meant telling my wife, so what did it mean?

Sunday night’s sleep was very fitful, I just couldn’t get comfortable. And when I did sleep, a vaguely familiar scent kept invading my dreams.

The buzz of the alarm cut through my dreams, banishing the deep sleep I’d finally slipped into what seemed like only minutes before. “You were a bit fitful” Kath said as she yawned and stretched beside me “just couldn’t get comfortable” I said, rolling over and contemplating the start of another week.

The start of a week.

Monday.

That means…….

“Don’t forget Sally will be here later” said Kath as she disappeared off to the bathroom.

Sally.

My mouth went dry, and my stomach churned. For gods sake, this is ridiculous I said to myself, slipping on a T-shirt and shorts. I’d shower later, once Kath had gone to work. And there was no need to be in a suit today as it’s a work-from-home day.

I busied myself with breakfast, Kath appeared, stole my toast and headed off out with a coffee in a travel mug. Alone at last. I plonked myself down at my laptop, mentally promising to have a shower in a bit, and tried to distract myself from thinking about large tanned cleavages by checking emails. Actually this was more successful than I realised, as I jumped slightly when I heard a key in the door. Crap! It’s gone 9am and I never did get that shower, and now Sally is here.
