Stories stop !!!!!!

Does anyone else get fed up with people posting stories which are brilliant then just vanish never finished . Why start if u dont wish to finish . All the stories are brilliant on here better than i could ever think on writting |

By way of explanation, it takes a lot of effort to write a story and sustain it. A surprisingly large amount of effort if you haven't done it before.
In case this is helpful for other writers, I tend to have a story either fully written or nearly complete before I start posting it anywhere. That way I know the material is there to sustain the story.
And maybe something for readers. I know that any positive comments help motivate me to write. So thank you for any who have commented on mine with support and please do for any stories that you like - I think the authors will be grateful.
I also value deeper criticism of any stories I like - positive or negative but hopefully constructive. It helps me improve. |

If I enjoy a story I always leave some sort of comment or emoji if I haven't got time to write anything and always show my appreciation it's just a shame some stories don't get finished because obviously the writers don't complete them before they write them which is a very big shame because most of the stories are very very good |

 this right here. Agree 100% with what you put. I've started writing stories and been really enjoying doing it. But for me it's a case of writing out the majority of it and then uploading as and when. It's a bit more relaxed that way if you are sharing. I suppose if you get a bit of writers block it's difficult to complete and you end up just leaving it.
I also agree any feedback on stories both positive or negative is critical to ensure you are hitting the right notes so to speak. |

Totally agree! Somebody who left a half finished story started another so I commented on the new one, "I'm enjoying this, but it would be nice if you could finish off Submission Pt4!"
Its a pity admin cant seem to get involved with things like this! I understand it takes a lot of time & effort to write & I appreciate that & often comment on the good ones that I enjoy.
But also whats annoying is when there is a mistake in a story or its a bit far fetched & you always get somebody (normally single men!!) slagging the writer off! Sometimes this makes the writer stop writing the story & is not on! If you dont like a story then dont read it, dont slag the writer off for taking time to write it for others! |

I totally agree with the comment about writers being slaged off nothing worse than when somebody's trying to make an effort whether the punctuation or the spelling's incorrect what does it matter it's a story and someone's taking the effort to write it if you have a comment about punctuation or spelling or the way it's written keep your comments to yourself nobody really cares less what you think if everyone really enjoys it like an understand how that would put somebody off I know it would me if I could write a story |

As someone who has been writing a story now for a long time (A typical life story?) I’d like to add my two-pennarth to this.
At times I’ve been able to add new instalments every couple of days, but work (I’m a farmer often working long hours, 7 days a week) does get in the way. I also find that at times because I’ve got so much going off that I can’t seem to get the words together to write anything at all.
That said, it is my absolute intention to continue with my story and I think it is very unfair to the people who’ve followed it, and either commented or messaged me directly, not to finish it properly when the time comes.
As others have said above, it’s also a bit annoying when an author abandons one and starts another. Sooner or later a pattern begins to develop.
For anyone interested, my next instalment will hopefully be posted in the next day or two. |

Thank you so much for the time & effort you put into it! I will be so sorry when it does end! I'm always eagerly awaiting the next instalment, unlike some on here I understand that you have a life outside of Fab & sometimes dont have much spare time. |

Love the stories, as others have said if I don’t like one I don’t bother reading. I’ve written a few myself and have them typed up before submitting. I follow a few series stories, but do enjoy a story that builds up before launching into the eroticism. Some great stories out there, well done to anyone who feeds this FAB beast.  |

Yeah it is difficult to keep it going must admit i just add bit when come to me and do not always have the time to write more but do enjoy when get postive feedback |

I'm doing a story at the moment but sometimes get sidetracked reading some of the other stories on here which are a really good read I always leave some feedback for the author too.
On a side note admin could do a competion for best story per month
