I was about in France doing a little work on my boat before the holiday season really got into full swing.
Despite it being May, the temperature and humidity were way up, and after a morning of scrubbing and polishing I was ready for a little R ‘n’ R. I showered off at the marina and decided to visit the beach, so hit the road and headed off to my nearest naturist haunt.
The beach was near a new village development which had been hit hard by the numerous recent recessions. Many plots were awaiting builds and some villas had been left half-done, but there was still a nice boho vibe around the place. A few shops and a couple of bars/restaurants meant there was still enough to attract a decent crowd, and numerous people also not shy of enjoying a little fun on the beach or the dunes to the rear of the plage.
Having parked up, I walked along the beach, taking in the sea air and noting the many lithe, tanned individuals and couples soaking up the rays.
I settled down and stripped off before heading into the sea.
The cool water proved refreshing, and after a long swim I emerged from the sea reinvigorated and made my way back to my towel - which is when I noticed the towel and parasol closest to mine, empty when I went in the sea, was now occupied by a shapely brunette who was carefully applying sun lotion to her tanned body. |
