I hate when I have a disturbing dream that wakes me up middle of then night or an hour before alarm goes off.
I just had one where there were fox sized Urban Tigers and just like the London foxes have been getting a little more brave and not running away until very close.
Well as me and my three friends were walking along the pavement a tiger (fox sized) appeared in some way ahead from the bumper to bumper parked cars that lined the road. Being used to this we thought nothing of it. But as we got closer this one didn’t run off as they usually do but just kept a safe distance as though it was curious but wary of our presence.
One of my friends shoo’d it but it just carried on keeping a safe distance in front of us half turning and looking back in that way a cat does to make sure you’re not stalking it. Then as we approached the corner at the top of the road it stopped and sat close to a parked car to allow us to pass.
As we did my friend gave a little feigned lunch and sharp growl to scare it away. It just gave him a confused look and allowed us to pass as we did we noticed another poke it head out from between the cars. We rounded the corner looking at each other strangely as you rarely see London Urban Tigers so close together. That’s weird one of us said and continued on our way now looking back curiously.
Strangely the first tiger popped it’s head around the corner and began nonchalantly following but at a slightly faster pace than we were going. It wasn’t stalking just going about it’s business or so it seemed. I kept turning back to witness this strange phenomenon. But the Urban Tiger is so cute I thought it must’ve been tamed or something as they really are usually very wary of humans.
As I came up beside us I turned to my friends to mention how strange this tiger was behaving.
They were gone!! In that brief moment I turned to look at the tiger I hadn’t noticed they were on their toes and off down the road and quickly becoming figures in the distance. The tiger seemed to trot after them for and instant and them turned to face me as though it was sizing me up from a safe distance. I started to size up this little tiger and getting ready for it to experience my legendary toe punt. Where should I place this penalty kick should this tiger try to get too brazen. I continued to walk forward and the tiger ran a few steps away and turned again. I looked around maybe I’ll just cross over the road to avoid any unnecessary confrontation. But then I saw the other tiger slowly prowling toward me and he (or she) had a friend coming up on her rear with her…. |
