Hey everyone. Something different, and more of a “real-life” ongoing story and thought I’d share with you all! So… I recently joined an online Professional networking app, akin to the type where you swipe left/right - depending on your desire to “network”. Anyways, a few weeks ago I “matched” with a lovely lady based in London who was looking to broaden her network. After some back/forth light hearted messaging on the app, I asked if she fancied meeting for a coffee sometime… |

Unfortunately our diaries didn’t align for a few weeks so we ended up just chatting on the phone a few times about “life” and she explained her work and her job etc… usual conversations. Anyways, she messaged me last week asking if I was up grabbing some food one evening next time I’m in London. By this point, I knew she was married, so I messaged back saying “I think we’re looking for different things…”. To which she replied “what are you looking for…” |

I fired back some loose language response around “wanting some kind of uncomplicated connections…”. Anyways, I was very surprised to receive a response with “same as me… I just need to be discreet, that’s all…”

Sp we’ve been talking for a few days now, and yesterday (Thursday), we had another “call” and settled on meeting next Wednesday night in London.
The call yesterday was very interesting, we discussed the types of cuisines we enjoyed but also, managed to slip in the subject of “pudding” and that she’s able to spend the night away from Hubby.
So… this is the situation. We’ve agreed to meet next Wednesday night in London and grab some food. With the view of “staying with me in my hotel”
I am going to play this out in “real-time” with regular updates for those that are interested. |

Update: Saturday 4th Feb
A few messages exchanged yesterday, purely around confirming that we’re both looking forward to next Wednesday.
Communications shall we reduced over the weekend from her, due to her home situation. We’ve planned a call on Monday late afternoon to confirm the details.
