It had been a while since I'd managed to find the time to get a day off, so had been looking forward to a relaxing day.
I woke early and got myself ready then headed out to the car. To make sure the beach was fully accessible and plenty of sand, I needed to be there at a good time.
As I haded over to the coast, in the distance I could see that the sea mist was lingering. Pulling in to the car park, the mist was fairly thick and lingering. Sun was forecast, so all being well, it would soon burn off.
So I set off across the beach, the far side was known to be nudist, and usually quite well used. The weather must have put most people off though, as the first section of beach was empty of people. Undeterred, I stripped off my t shirt and shorts, leaving only some skimpy Kiniki underwear in case any fully clothed dog walking types appeared from nowhere, as could often be the case.
I carried on enjoying the views out to sea and also looking at where any cliff falls had changed the cliff face since i'd last visited. Going around a headland I spotted another person in the distance, seemingly heading in the same direction.
Although I wasn't rushing along, I soon got quite close and could make out a female form and was soon alongside.
We exchanged pleasantries and both remarking in the hope that the mist would lift before long. I offered to carry the large bag Sam was carrying, and we chatted as we walked along.
Before long, Sam said that the little cove we were just approaching would probably be fine for her, so after dropping off her bags I said that I'd carry on along the beach for a bit, see if there were any other signs of life, but hoped I'd see her later.
With that, I carried on. Looking back, no other beachgoers seemed to be heading out, and the tide would soon stop their access the way we'd walked for a few hours. I decided now was as good a time as any to lose the underwear. Having slipped them off and packed into a side pocket of the rucksack, I could feel a little stiffening as the breeze caught me.
It soon became clear that no one else had ventured to the beach, and I walked back a little way along the waters edge. Ahead, I saw Sam also leaving her little cove and walking down to the water, heading my way.
By now, the mist had thinned a little and the warm sun was evident. Although Sam had stripped off, she still had her bikini on, albeit fairly skimpy but it was too late now for modesty as she'd have seen that I was nude.
"No one else here then?" She asked.
"Completely empty! The whole beach to ourselves" I replied.
I could see that lowering of the gaze towards my groin, before we continued back towards Sam's camp
I said that I didn't want to encroach on her, and I would set out my towel in the next cove literally feet away, but not directly visible.
As we turned away from the sea, I couldn't help but notice that Sam's hand had briefly touched my leg. Accidental or not? We headed to our respective coves.
