So I'm in a dilemma, I'm 49. My mates daughter is 19 and has been working behind the bar in my local for the last few months and has really started to come out of her teenage shell. Even though I haven't really been in the local much recently every time I do she's started to get more flirty. I wouldn't want to ruin the 15 year friendship I have with her dad but the dirty side of me is finding hard to resist. Any advice would be great? |

There is a strong possibility that she has just learned how to get the guys worked up and double the amount of tips she gets. If you dont want to cause major probs I would leave it for her to do all the running. |

If you go down that avenue il put my mortgage on it her dad will find out and also everyone in your local pub, you will be known as the now then guys and gals of your area, only my opinion but please keep us all posted, literally lol. |

Had a friends daughter used to pop and see me when she was younger, still see her now after 2 kids and her divorce been about 20 years now, treats me like an uncle at parties it works well |

Said with up most respect mate, but like a couple guys already stated, everyone will find out...and if, as you say, you wouldn't want to jeapordise the friendship with your mate, then its a no brainer....steer clear.  |

If that’s your goddaughter then you mate clearly trusts you highly. Not to mention the whole goddaughter thing. I would steer clear.
I know what I’d do to someone if they did that with my daughter, consented fun or not. Consider the shoe on the foot first. |

As I'm sure already been said it's your goddaughter. Why the fuck are you even having those thoughts. Your friend and his wife obviously trust you when they asked you to be her godparent.
If you try anything folk will found out about it and your friend will probably knock seven shades of shit out you. To which you'll deserve as I'd do that if I was him and found out you were trying it on with my daughter. Females working in that type of environment will flirt to get you to spend more money and hopefully get bigger tips.
To cut it short.

So, the reason why I put this up on here was to get a feel of what people thought. And after reading all the comments it's been good to find out that the majority think the same as what I was thinking which is be the better man, thanks everyone

Seems to be most of comments on here are all the same stay away and go find a different pub. I think you would be better just leaving this as she's your goddaughter and her dad is a good mate that would kill you for trying it on with her. |

I had a business partner who was 50 years old and married 15 years. He went off with an 18 year old daughter of a long time mate of his and set up home together. 6 months later the father turned up to speak to his daughter and they spoke for a long time, father and daughter left together. So it was over and she never spoke to him again.
Not worth taking the risk will probably end up in tears. |
