I am getting asked a lot of questions about my teeny persona 'Jemma'.
Without breaking any of the rules of this great site, I will try to spell out the story on here.
I used to spend a lot of time at my Aunt and Uncles home. (They were not blood relatives, just neighbours)
I knew I was gay/bi at a very young age, and they embraced this.
I also started to get into dressing as a girl, and again, instead of making this off limits they encouraged me.
They thought of the name Jemma for the times I was fully dressed and made up.
Aunty June would help with my make up in the early days, until I got used to it.
Although to start with, it was a bit of fun, I really got into the persona, and the name stuck, onto this day!
They are both passed now sadly, but I will always thank them for how they handled me in my often very emotive state.
My parents would just not understand my needs, but June and Jim definitely did.
