School Mums Plaything

When the kids were young my wife and I worked shifts to cover child care. It was a time back in the early 90's when men on the school run were fairly rare and I used to find myself a bit on my own at the school gates as the mums chatted amongst themselves.
This went on for some time until one morning walking home I saw one of the mums trying to start her car. I went over, she'd been in school early to meet a teacher and had left the lights on for quite a while. I lived close so I quickly went home and got my car and some leads came back and got her started.
She thanked me saying she was off to meet some other mums for their regular weekly get together, she said "maybe you should join us?" I declined joking that I wasn't a mum and 'women's chat' probably wasn't my thing. (it was the 90's so wild stereotyping was still acceptable!)
She said that I'd be surprised what they talked about, gave me a knowing look and drove off. I have to admit I was a little intrigued had I turned down a good offer?

That was the last day of me doing the school run for a few days, so I didn't see the mum again until the following week. Even though I was curious I wasn't certain sitting around with a group of women was going to be my thing so I wasn't planning on asking for an invite.
The next week I didn't see the woman who I had helped until the Wednesday when we happened to be walking out of the gate together. "Hi" she said "I'm off for a coffee with the mums and the offers still open if you want to join us". I'd nothing much on at home until I had to pick the k*ds up later so I thought why not, "I'll get my car and follow you" I said, "oh, just hope in mine I'll drop you off after" she said. I was a bit unsure about being seen getting in a car with another woman so close to home but the main rush had gone so there were only a few people around.
We got in the car she laughed and said "I haven't even introduced myself and you're in my car. I'm Shelly". I said "...and I'm Ed" "I know" she replied "You're Sophie's husband, we do talk when she's collecting the k*ds you know!". I was now in two minds would she tell Sophie and would Sophie be annoyed? Why would she be annoyed with me having coffee with a group of mum's she knew, after all I could hardly have an affair with half a dozen women at once.
Shelly droves us to a large detached house on a nearby estate there we parked outside and Shelly led the way to the door, it was open and Shelly shouted a greeting. A woman appeared from a doorway ahead saying "we're in here", I followed Shelly into the room "I've brought another mum" she laughed, I stuck my head around the door and said "hi". There were five women sat around the room some of who I recognised from the school and the woman who had greeted us - Alice. They looked slightly surprised but all said hi.
The first morning was ok I didn't feel too much of an outsider and it wasn't all 'women' talk and I agreed I'd be back when my shifts coincided.
Little did I know what next time would involve!

As I said due to working patterns it was a few weeks before my free time coincided with another get together. I was heading home after the morning drop off when I heard Shelly calling me over, "coming for coffee then Ed?" she asked, I said "yeah, why not? I've nothing much on today". I got in Shelly's car and we made the short drive to Alice's.
I followed Shelly to the door, she opened it and shouted "we're here", Alice appeared looking slightly surprised, the conversation went something like'
Shelly: "Something up?"
Alice: "You've brought Ed?"
Shelly: "Yeah, why? I said I'd bring him along next time he was free".
Alice: "You've forgotten about today then?"
Shelly: "Have I? Oh God! yes I have!"
I was stood in the door looking very confused, "what's today?" I asked, they both looked at each other then at me, Alice hesitantly stuttered "err we, Sarah that is .... is err showing us her err things today". Which didn't really explain anything to me, Shelly could see I was non the wiser and just blurted out "Sarah does parties at home selling adult things".
I knew what she was on about then, for those who don't remember before the internet in the 1990's the high street adult store Ann S**** sold via women who went to houses doing what were known as 'parties' usually these were women only. But it looked like there was going to be a man at this one. |

Chose an Ann Summers voucher in our local club raffle above better prizes. Gave it to Mrs in front of a big group of our friends. She went mental.i went shopping with voucher.... Rabbit got binned after a month and still got pussy gell and other lubes under my bed. That was over 10 years ago  |

I followed Shelly into the house where we headed into the big lounge as we had before. There were six women in there plus the host Alice and Shelly, they all looked a little surprised when I entered and Alice explained that Shelly had forgot about the party and brought me along. I quickly said I was happy to find my way home but there was a general chatter that I should stay and it would be fun to have a man there. At that a woman who I now know was Sarah came out of the dining room carrying a large bag, she saw me an said "Oh!", Alice explained things and Sarah said "it's fine I've had guys join in before, I hope you don't embarrass easily" and everyone laughed. I laughed and said " my first job was in a factory of 1000 women so I can cope with nine of you, I hope".
Sarah unzipped the bag and spread a large assortment of toys and other products on the the floor, she said "I've put all the clothing on a rail in the dining room, if you want to see it". The women were soon on the floor looking though the items, I took a seat and sat back watching an listening to them waving dildos and vibrators around and giggling with each other.
Shelly looked over and asked "aren't you going to join us Ed?", "I've got my own already" I laughed. "I bet it's not as big as this" one of the girls giggled holding up a large lifelike vibrator, "I think I modelled for that one" I joked. There was a collective "oooooo" around the room, "put this on and we'll soon see" said Sarah holding up a very small mans 'pouch' "I need a model". There was no way I was putting that on in front of a group of women I hardly knew .... was there?
