Christmas and the New Year came and went but all the while i could feel the resentment building inside.
I made a vow to myself that once qualified i would get my own back.
How or when hadn't been decided yet.
But it is fair to say the following my revenge opportunity presented itself to me in the New year.
Work was quiet for my boss so he laid the foreman off as he was paid as a self employed sub contractor where as i was only paid £27.00 a week till qualified.
As it was quiet my boss decided that he and i would decorate some of house.
Although he had decided he and i it become more just myself doing the as he was nearly always out for most of day.
Now this is where my revenge started.
Prior to me working in his house when ever we went to the house his wife always appeared to be very conservative in both appearance.
This became clear that it was only a charade by her to keep my boss happy.
After a few days of working there, joining her for coffee and for my lunch break her conservative appearance and speech changed.
She appeared more casually / comfortably dressed and more relaxed in her speech and behavior and we started to have a laugh together and there was always good banter between us when my boss left us alone.
At this time i just 18 and i would say his wife was around 38 - 40 but didn't look it.
