Hello all
I’m just finishing my book. Need to get the cover done. If anyone can face it please could you read this blurb I intend to put on the front and let me m is if it would entice you in? What would you change? Thanks! Xx
[XTitle tbx xx] is a candid memoir of living in a sexually frustrated marriage. It is the intimate journey of an ordinary housewife and mum whose bedroom is the loneliest place.
When a partner loves her spouse and children, should she keep the marriage together for their sake or walk away from her dead-bedroom marriage?
After years of feeling desperate to be seen and loved by her husband, one woman discovers that perhaps the answer begins with loving herself unconditionally first.
Themes covered include:
1-Marriages where one partner wants more sex than their spouse (due to mismatched sex drives or Asexuality)
2-A woman’s insight into living with her partner’s Erectile Dysfunction, performance anxiety and use of Viagra or Cialis
3- How mental health impacts a marriage- including post-partum depression and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
4- Communication mistakes between couples- including navigating coercion and lack of boundary setting
5- Readers raised in conservative, religious or ethnic backgrounds, where the discussion of sexual needs was either not permitted, celebrated or too shameful
6- Learning to be proud of being a sexual woman- how to communicate and get what you need to satisfy yourself

Thanks! I’m about five pages away from my final edit. Can’t believe I’ve done it. Just need to figure out whether I can afford a professional edit (probably not), who can design the cover I have in mind and how on earth to use kindle technology to publish. That will probably set me back a while lol! Will let you know when it’s out. I would love it to go free to fab users for a while as this place really helped me on my journey. May keep posting bits of it in this area of the forums to test sections out xxx |

Wonderful range of topics covered, can identify with much of it. Be really nice to outline my situation if you're interested...

Congratulations on getting your book this far. Maybe find a kindle expert, someone who's done that journey. I'd love to read the finished version. I think the book description is good,... perhaps hint at some of your attempts to find sex and intimacy.. So as to draw in the reader. |
