I hope I don't upset anyone, but......
Am I too old school to be on here, I must say that I find the word 'Slut' when describing a female to be somewhat offensive and double standards??
The dictionary describes the meaning as a female with many sexual partners.
But a man with many sexual partners are usually known as 'studs' or a ladies man.
Am not having a pop at anyone, just been on my mind. |

I've been lucky enough to have met a few self proclaimed 'sluts'. Delightful and respectable ladies in the real world, but revel in the status in the fab world. Nothing wrong as far as myself or them are concerned and in this 'alternative' world thinking that way allows them more freedom to do as they want without the constraints imposed by normal society? |

In the normal real world I wouldn't use any derogatory terms to describe people.
During a sexual encounter in the heat of the moment it has been known.
One of the things that helps turn an ok encounter into a sexually charged frenzy is talking dirty. I just can't help myself. |

My opinion only (mars) ... a Slut is a positive term for someone who enjoys sex for what it is and can obtain his/her own gratification from it. A Slag meanwhile, is a negative term and would be someone doing it for other means such as trying to be popular, or to get a promotion etc
Maybe a Slug is somewhere down the middle? |
