Annie was only 22 and at University when her great uncle Arthur died leaving her his old run down family home near Falmouth in Cornwall.
Annie parents had died in a car accident 10 years before and she was raised in a Foster home and had had a good relationship with her Foster dad Stephen who didn't understand property or annies need to have family roots so rather than taking his advice to sell she set off to Cornwall to see bolitho House. |

Annie arrived at the brooding house not far from pendennis Castle,the house was more run down than she'd first imagined it was shrouded in fog giving it the look of a haunted house from a horror movie .
She parked her old mini on the sweeping gravel driveway and started the walk to the huge ancient double door it felt weird as if someone was watching her but why would anyone do such a thing .
She unlocked the door and swung it open with a loud creak her uncle Arthur had died only six months before but it must of been years since the main doors were used by the amount of dust that filtered down she explored the old house it was like a time trap she couldn't believe social services had let her uncle live in such conditions .
Suddenly a deep cornish voice interrupted her thoughts and she jumped as the stranger simply said its beautiful isn't it ,she span round to be faced with a tall dark handsome stranger poldark she thought in her mind .
Oh hi yes im Annie Galloway im the new owner she stammered.
The Handsome stranger smiled oh yes he was sexy im Connor trevellion he introduced himself I was a friend if your uncles .
Its nice to meet you Connor said Annie
He smiled call me Con as a friend of you late uncle I think I need to luck after the last of his family I've booked you in tonight in the local Inn the warrior if you follow me ill show you the way .
Oh but I thought I'd stay here tonight.
There's no power it dosent get turned on until Monday he replied.

Con and Annie were soon tucked up in the local Inn drinking shots,he proceeded to tell the young student all about her uncle and the history of boltho house as interested as she was it was hard not to yawn after a 3 hour history lesson how could a man so sexy be so boring she wondered.
Annie you look tired he said you get to bed and ill collect you in the morning .
Annie head whirled from a little too much cornish cider oh ok con I guess you not coming with me .
Con was suprised at the other from some one hed only met 4 hours ago im flattered Annie but your d*unk and will regret it in the morning.
Annie always a little forward your loss con kissed his cheek and stumbled up the winding staircase to her room .
Con leaned on the bar and watched her go while he finished his drink .
The land lord interrupted cons thoughts shes a real little cracker that one con .
He looked at allday the landlord yes she looks like a painting of one of her ancestors lady isobel she was had many lovers while sir Peter was away at sea he replied.
All day held up his glass I salute to the new lady of the Manor,cheers they toasted . |

The next morning Annie met con at the house as arranged .
How did you sleep asked the cornish man ,oh I slept well but I'm sorry about how I acted .
Con laughed well I don't get a offer like that every day .
Then perhaps you should of shown me some cornish hospitality.
Really Annie I known you 2 days and your flirting said con .
She smiled I think you better show me round before we get carried away .
Yes i think I should and they searched the house the 8 bedrooms 3 bathrooms the kitchen the lounge the dinning room and the library were uncle Arthur no longer able to handle the stairs ended his days .
Omg said Annie its much bigger than I thought yes and all in need of work not to mention the 4 acres outside with barns and stables so can you afford the work he asked .

Annie and New friend worked hard on the estate and a meeting with percival was arranged after shed had the land valued.
She was in the kitchen awaiting her neighbour visit she had been working hard on the land outside and had her boiler suit tied around her waist her tight fitted vest top was filthy with dirt and her buxom chest was pressed against it to make a nice view her hair tied back in a pony tail completed the farm hands look .knock knock the shabby old door shook and she pulled it open with a creek her eyes met those of a tired old man.
Miss Galloway im percival deroux your neighbour hi perci come in she replied shortening his name .

Annie please after all were gonna be neighbours she responded .

Annie smiled 50 k a acre thats what it's valued at .

Annie laughed im young but not stupid 45 k as were neighbours
Perci pushed for a deal 35 and you got a deal .
40k no lower said Annie in her best poker face .
Perci flopped back in his chair your tough Annie but yes its a deal .
Annie smiled did he just make a very obvious look at my tits the dirty old git.
OK come on perci let's go look at what you just brought shall we and together they headed to the fields . |

Thay walked the land joining to perci farm so wot you gonna do with this land perci surly the mound at the edge is no good for farming Annie asked .
Oh ill make it work said perci with a cold smile and he again obvious looked at Annie hard hits .

You got no idea so solicitors tomorrow to sign on the deal he asked Annie.
That night Annie told of conn of her meeting with perci ,so you gonna sell asked her friend .
Yes i cant repair the house without cash and the bank won't lend she said .
OK if your sure said conn who decided percival deroux was upto no good and he decided to do some digging and left herbin the company of a new face to the pub . |
