She took his money, exchanged pleasantries, showed him out, and locked the door. She turned the sign round to 'closed', then pulled the blinds down.
Seeing the puzzled look on my face, she explained 'you're the final customer of the day. We don't want anymore sneaking in on us do we?'. I thought it a little strange, shrugged my shoulders and replied 'I guess not.'
'I'm sorry, its a mess, see what you can do with this please'. I apologised, pointing to my unkempt, overgrown hair. It's always nice to have new customers, I'm sure you're going to love what I do to you.' She looked deep into my eyes and grinned, the grin of a predator. I felt scared and excited in equal measures.
