Tuesday at morning came and Nina got in her train to London, she was to meet Paul at the offices were the first meeting was being held.
He was waiting with a coffee for Nina in reception.
She smiles, good morning Paul how was your flight.
It was ok thanks he replied.
They headed to the office where the meeting was being held.
I’m the room three of the clients, two men and a female.
The all introduced each other to Nina.
Nina noticed the female give Paul the eyes and sensed a chemistry.
The meeting ended, The client had arranged a car to take the pair of them to their hotel.
Paul always stayed in the same 5 star hotel in the centre of London.
As the checked in Paul said, I’ve booked dinner for 7 he said shall we meet at the bar at around 6:45.
That’s fine Nina said, they made their way to the rooms, it turns out they were directly across the hall from each other.
I didn’t realise we were so close Paul said, why don’t you just chap my door when your ready he said.
Yeah that’s no problem Nina said.
She went into her room, she FaceTimed the kids as she freshened up.
Fixing her hair and make up, a spray of perfume and she hung up her clothes for tomorrow.
The kids seemed preoccupied so the call lasted about 10 minutes.
Nina found herself sitting with 30 minutes to sore before the arranged meeting time.
She decided I will go the bar and get some drinks in, she left her room and chapped Paul’s door. She could hear him talking.
He answered the door, suit trousers on but no short.
He waved her in as he spoke via speaker to phone to another client.
Nina entered, she tried not to look too much but his body was not to pay ripped but definite definition of a four pack and muscular arms and shoulders.
Paul hung up on his call as he sprayed some deodorant and put on a fresh shirt.
Sorry about that Nina, it’s a different client. He’s pretty demanding.
Nina smiles, I was going to head down to the bar and was wondering if you wanted me to order you a drink.
That’s very thoughtful he said, I’m ready now as he grabbed his jacket and they left the room.
As they entered the lift, she could smell his aftershave, she liked it.
As the entered the bar, Paul pulled a seat out for Nina at a table.
So what you having, oh just an orange juice Nina replied. Better keep a straight head if we are discussing work.
Paul laughed, well I’m having a beer. I don’t discuss work after 7pm.
We need to let our minds relax to be fresh the next day he said.
Ok then a red wine please.
Nina watched Paul at the bar. A female sitting alone at the bar drinking a wine had struck up a conversation with Paul. She giggled and blushes as Paul is chatting and smiling. The bar tender came with Paul’s drinks.
She saw Paul write on a napkin and hand it to the lady, he then made his way back to the table.
The new introduced colleagues say having their drinks making small talk as they were called to the restaurant to their table.
They ordered food and Paul asked for his usual red wine.
You will like this wine he said to Nina it’s my favourite.
As dinner was ending and a few drinks later the chat seemed to be going great Nina thought.
So Paul said, speaking with Trevor (her boss) he said you can be a little shy.
Is that the case Paul asks.
Yeah I am pretty shy Nina replies, hope that’s not a problem.
Not at all Paul smiles. Just in this business I find most in the legal profession outspoken. Some of them a little to much.
Well I’ve always been a little shy, wish I wasn’t she blushes.
Well Paul replies, I don’t believe in being shy, it can limit opportunities.
What do you mean Nina laughs.
Well that lady at the bar for a start.
Yeah Nina said, I saw you speaking to her.
Well she looked up at me and smiled. Smiled back and said hello.
Well you must have been funny Nina said she was giggling and laughing.
Well try to make women laugh it relaxes people then I if I like how it’s going I try not to be shy if you know what I mean.

Well the napkin Paul’s says.
I noticed that Nina laughed, what was that all about.
Well the convo went from she is staying in the hotel and is on her own. I said if she felt like company later hers my room number feel free to pop round for a drink.
Nina laughs oh I get you. That would never happen to me she giggles.
