Mr. Domm was sat at his desk on monday morning, having a fresh coffee brought in by his secretary, Trish.
Pondering on the weekend just passed, and how he can improve his house cleaning business, what with the restrictions of covid.
He has several contracts with big building companies, plus a portfolio of some high end clients, who own properties from £1 million upwards.
Mr. Domm was single, after a relationship turned sour, 9 months ago. For a bit of fun one day several weeks before, he replied to a comment on a dating website ad on facebook. Just responding with.
"you havent found the right one yet then", in amoungst several other comments in response to a ladies comment, about her husband cheating on her with a younger woman.
About 9.30am his mobile dinged with a pm message.
He opened the message to find it saying, "i havent dated or had a man in the last 6 months".
He sat their and thought after looking at the ladies profile on fb, i dont know her.
So replied with, "excuse me susan, do i know you, i think you may have sent this message to the wrong person".
Back came a reply, "you put a comment on my post, about having not met the right one yet, im sorry i will leave you alone".
Mr. Domm sat their and pondered for a while, then for a bit of fun replied, "well perhaps you haven't, how would you know, if you havent had a man in the last 6 months, thats along time".
Susan replied, "it is. But i dont do the dating scene, im too old for that".
Mr. Domm replied with "im not going to ask your age, but your profile photo on fb doesnt look like your an older lady, you should be in the prime of your life, and enjoying yourself".
Susan replied "i wouldnt know where to start, i was the devoted wife, who got cheated on. And it has hurt me. Anyways im walking to work, i dont know you, and why would i pour my heart out to a total stranger. I was just sending a reply to your comment on my facebook comment, direct to you, as i didnt want to do it on a public fb setting. Plus have you checked my fb page out to comment i dont look an older lady about my photo".
"well i appreciate that you didnt want to comment on a public fb sponsored dating site ad,". As he had found the comment he had made on the ladies comment on fb.
" if your walking to work what do you do. Plus your profile photo makes you look very pretty".
Susand replied " thank you, im at work now so have to go, maybe i will message you this evening, if i feel like it".
With this the messages stopped, and Mr. Domm went about his work for the next hour or so. Made a few phone calls to arrange some business meeting. Getting his secretary to book them in his diary.
By now it was lunch time ish, when his phone dinged.
Looking at his phone it was a pm as he opened it, seeing susans profile photo, all it said was "HI".
