My first meeting was aranged, not on here it was another less friendly site.
She had sent me pictures, was forty, blonde hi lights and a trim body. Well the swim suit picture had me excited. I was working but when I got off at 2pm I'd arranged for a lunch meet in a public place near work. This was for her security. Although we had chatted I wanted her to feel comfortable. I got there early, and waited around the atrium reading the paper. Bang on time I got a text Im here, I just walked in where are you??. Well the atrium was busy but only one person had walked in. I went over in the direction of a 55 year old woman. She turned "hi" she said, "its me Sally".
OMG I thought your not 40 and tight, she was at the youngest 55. Now I like mature ladies but this was a shock.
I'm not at all rude so I took her for lunch as promised. After a while the Elephant in the room got too big so I had to say something. "So about your picture and texts......"
"Yes she said, I realise I'm not what I said." This was an understatement. "I found I didn't get the right men so I used a picture of my 35 year old daughter." I gasped at the horror of the unfolding scenario. "But I've found that most men just take me home and do me anyway." Well this wasn't going to happen, not at all what I wanted or expected.
Now at this point all my manners and good behaviour went out of the window. I paid for lunch ahd excused myself to the toilet. This was by the rear and unfortunatly as far from the door as it could be. Down the bottom of the corridor was the kitchen. Out of it came the waitress that had served us. She knew what was going on I could tell. I stopped her and said I had to leave could I go via the back door. I breifly explained the situation and she laughed. She showed me to the rear door via the kitchen, the chef giving me a funny look but saying nothing. I ran round the corner and jumped in my car. Thank god I was early and she hadn't seen my Audi, it stood out a little. I started up and ran.....
I had it on a plate but I wasn't going to have her. She had lied and I couldn't have felt comfortable not to mention I have standards. I learnt a valuable lesson.

At least you met in public........ i met a guy from here last time i was a member, we'd chatted awhile, texted, cammed (his cam was poo) and when he arrived at my home for a coffe.......... i thought he had sent his dad!
I drank my coffee so fast i almost burnt my gob! taught me a valuable lesson............ ALWAYS meet in public first!  |

Same thing happened to me and I was polite all night.
No I didn't run or take her to bed.
It was a little awkward, but that night was interesting.
Why do people lie, can't lie in the flesh via lying about pics can you? |

I met a guy once who seemed really fit and lush, his pics looked good, he sent me lots, when we met he had a massive limp and a real bad cleft palette repair, I love kissing and I know it's bad but I just couldn't so made excuses about being guilty and not being able to cheat on partner. Few months later bumped into him at a social with my then fb from here, whoops  |

I would hate to put myself in a position where you have to knock back someone in private....so ALWAYS meet in public for a coffee first. It's only common sense and safe. Also tell someone who you are meeting and where if poss. It's not to say that you can't go somewhere after the initial meet.......lol |
