"All flights cancelled so if you are desperate to get there you would have to drive or catch a train. "
There are still quite a few on route into Alicante.
TUI from Bristol an Easyjet from Manchester, and Ryanair from Southend are just 3 I've seen.
I would guess almost empty coming in but will be full going out. |

Are these empty plains to collect or are they supposed to have tourists on them? |

I doubt they will have many (if any) holidaymakers on board. However these flights work both ways so there will probably be a few Spanish and expats returning home |

I doubt that catching a train would work now. And from tomorrow (if not already) driving will be impossible.
From 8 am tomorrow you are not even allowed to go to a friends house for dinner, so trundling up the motorway will be an absolute no go. |

Think a lot is dependent on the actual airlines because if the ground flights thats one thing hut if they decide to start flying again say at end of the month then alot of insurances will be void as the airspace is open if flights are grounded or cancelled then thats on thing but if the travel company don't cancel and are “monitoring” and decide to fly again then that opens up all sorts of issues regarding policies |

Been on a weekend visit to UK ( would not have gone if crisis had escalated a day or two before.). Ryanair flight today from Stansted to Alicante. Cabin staff said could be last flight till crisis over. |
