Started block booking the whole place to different groups for week or ten days. Mostly to Scandi countries. We can understand why, but can be disruptive to plans. This year so far week in March and ten days in peak time November. Problem is you have to book 10months in advance especially for peak times, and owners are denying it's true until last minute. What do fellow gabbers think. Going be happening more 2021 ..watch this space... happy holidays

We heard there was a block booking in October but as regards November, the rooms went very quickly once they came online (a few days earlier than normal). All dates were available and we got our 12 days (with friends) but only cause we booked within a couple of hours of the rooms being released. Many had gone by the end of the day but I wouldn't say they were block booked, we could have got any time.
It is possible they went very quickly in November because some weeks in October were block booked.
I suppose it is a business after all and value for money it is outstanding with almost no competition so I'm not surprised it gets booked up really quickly (which can appear like block booking) or block booked by those willing to club together.
There are plenty of weeks still available in December two week after release. We went that time last year and it was fully booked so there are alternatives to Oct/Nov. And there is always Venus! |

Sadly there was a block booking in November ! It was for a 7 day period towards the start of the month. And was made before the normal booking period opened. This resulted in many people we know, including us, changing there holiday plans. La M is a great place, we are going out again soon in late March, but this block booking in advance situation is becoming a big problem. Not good ! |

We agree that, on a business sense, it is the owners perogative to block book to Swingers Clubs. What we think is wholly unfair is to allow these bookings to be made well before the ten month deadline!! the advertising states that bookings must be made 10 months in advance. Obviously that is NOT the case, when bookings are allowed before that. |

You’re right it’s happened a few times to ourselves and the last time I even checked there was no block bookings before booking our flights over and what do you know as soon as the month we wanted open up it was already booked for the dates we’d been told were free. |

It's their place they can bend or amend whayever booking rules they want, its your perogative to go elsewhere even when they don't have block bookings then they might see what they have done
... Shot themselves in the foot, but I doubt that's going to happen, supply and demand. |

They release the rooms 10 months before on or around the 10th of each month. |

A little known fact regarding block bookings at LM that a lot won’t know is that they are booked on an All Inclusive basis.
From what we got told by staff is that the group who originally started taking over were paying an absolute fortune for the privilege of doing so, making it an extremely profitable booking for the owners.
