We are considering buying a private, discreet villa somewhere inland from Malaga (Vinuella area) for peace and quiet & occasional swinging pool parties.
We are wondering if there's much of a swinging scene in and around Malaga and, if so, what media people use for making contact / publicising meets.
We aren't into clubs but enjoy private parties and couples meets. |

We moved back from Torrox just over a year ago.
There are hundreds if not thousands of properties available to choose from.
The only thing I would suggest is do your homework as there are so many things that can bite you in the arse.
Depending your location the majority of people stay in the well know areas along the coast so travelling distance for potential singles and couples for your parties could be an issue.
We loved it across there however the red tape we faced with the business, it made it easier to move back and run it from the UK.
Good luck I'm sure you will fi d something out there.

Malaga, Spain now ex High Barnet |
We live near Torre del Mar. There's nothing much happening on the Eastern side of Malaga. A nudist beach but no clubs. There's a few couples in the vicinity. Vinuela is very nice although the reservoir has been nearly empty for the last few years. Be very careful about buying rural property in Spain as it's a minefield if you are not careful. Also sort out any pension drawdown before you move as the Hacienda are rapacious and the rules very different from the UK. |

Spain is wonderful but there's an estimated 300,000 illegal houses in Andalusia. If you buy one then you can have a stressful few years waiting to see if the Junta bulldozes your house.
If you don't think about tax before you establish residence in Spain then you will rapidly find you are paying money unnecessarily to the Hacienda. For instance, if you are over 55 you can cash in 25% of your pension fund without paying tax in the UK - the Spanish just treat the money as income. If you want to give money away, fair enough but talking with a Spanish accountant before you move is a sensible thing to do.
The Axarquia is a wonderful place to live but swingers are a little thin on the ground. West of Malaga has more going on with clubs and bars etc.
