New club PDI Gatsby #2

We didn't go as concerned about it being quiet, we also like single guys.
Secrets was still busy which surprised me with Gatsby being open. It was mostly couples.
We'll monitor reviews and may have a look next weekend xxx |

You can book though their profile, so Friday €20 including 2 drinks or Saturday €30, so not that expensive |

OK we where there yesterday around 12 and we where cpl number 7, we where there till 4 and max. 15 cpl in
so not the 35 cpl they where talking about
staff 1 girl was OK, the rest horrible lol

We've just booked a 7 day trip and judging by the early reviews we'll be giving this place a miss. It'll be our first time in PDI and we'll stick with the clubs and bars that have good reviews. |

Yes you do have to have to have the right type of staff in the clubs, its a big thing in these clubs, hopefully they will address this.

The problem with focussing too much on reviews is that the best club last year could be the worst this year, and there is a huge difference week by week or night by night as it's the customers that determine whether or not you have a good night, so don't go with too much of a set plan.
Some people prefer to go to imagine or comeback bar and see where others are going before committing to a club.
Some don't even leave imagine ??
Our preference is not to meet single men so Gatsby's will be top of our list because of that and hopefully it will be busy when we get there on Friday 28th Feb ?? |

Same here but clubs are making it more difficult for them to attend. Secrets have increased charge and reduced play area for them. We went Friday and it was busier there and couples area was empty  |

It is difficult to find decent single guys in the clubs, they are either to pushy or haven’t made enough effort.
We are always clean, fresh and smartly, sexily dressed and don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the same.
We mostly end up just playing together and satisfying our exhibitionist side

As a single guy if you turn up at a club you don’t need to feel belittled or exploited. As long as you turn up smart, well dressed, and making an effort, unlike the Spanish guys who arrive straight from work, in scruffy clothes and smelling bad....Although these pushy guys can get in the way, you can still as a single guy use their shortfalls to your advantage.
And....to avoid being exploited just don’t go to the club that charges single guys 50 Euro and only allows them in certain areas.

Yes I think it will survive without single guys, there are plenty of clubs with single guys in. This club only opens for 2 nights,for couples. |

Quite right James. We have met respectful single guys of all nationalities, we have also met some older Spanish guys who are very nice, it seems to be the young 'entitled' ,Spanish who are the issue |

Whilst you are entitled to your view I do think your post has a latent edge bordering on xenophobia. We’ve been to clubs in Cap, Paris and GC and believe me us British are no different from our French German and Spanish neighbours.
Indeed last year in Secrets we had a night completely ruined by little englishers who hadn’t a clue how to behave in a swinging environment.
People are smelly / disrespectful/ boring due to their make up - not due to their nationality |

Some of us have had bad experiences with some young Spanish guys. You only have to read some threads from October to see what was happening. I respect we all have had different experiences, my worst was with a Dutch lady who wouldn't take no for an answer, she wouldn't believe I wasn't bi! I don't hold it against the whole race though, as I don't, some of the Spanish guys I am also aware that there was some issues in October with some British people, so good and bad in all |

It is difficult to find decent single guys in the clubs, they are either to pushy or haven’t made enough effort.
We are always clean, fresh and smartly, sexily dressed and don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the same.

For the same reason that secrets do permit single guys. Different people different preferences. There are plenty enough clubs with single guys. |

As above, there are plenty of clubs where you can meet single guys, some are obviously becoming a pain in the arse, if you take time to read some of the threads. A couples club has been a long time coming in PDI and Gatsbys has been very popular. I hope they keep it couples only. |

We previously only had 2x2 on a Monday, now we have two other nights where we can relax, not be pestered by singles and really enjoy the evening!

We are mostly only looking for single guys but are also looking for the social side and enjoy Mrs being able to dress naughtier than she would in a vanilla club.
We can also be sexual with each other in a safe non judgemental environment, which even after 30 years is still a thrill.
So we will be going with an open mind, hopefully meet some people we click with and you never know
Plenty of other nights to go elsewhere so really looking forward to somewhere new.

We previously only had 2x2 on a Monday, now we have two other nights where we can relax, not be pestered by singles and really enjoy the evening!

Monday at 2x2. I’m guessing that’s officially couples only now, as the website appears to have removed the “single males by invite only” line off the text and posters.
(we had always thought it was couples only on a Monday, it wasn’t until late last year that we learned that wasn’t the case.) |

But did they annoy you? We didn't really mind as they weren't as pushy as some places but as soon as anyone goes anywhere near the playrooms there's a queue lol
We don't use the playrooms in fun4all anyway, mostly just people watching and have a drink then round to Patricia's maybe. |

Never had a problem in fun4all with singles, been at the bar and seen them turning single men away at he door.

Hope new club is good , we will try in October, that being said we have never had any problems with single guys in fun4all or secrets ,will defo see what its like in October |

Just returned from PDI but never ventured into Gatsby as friends of ours said it lacked a sexy atmosphere and very quiet. They went to Secrets and it was bouncing.
We have been going to PDI for a few years. The clubs are now charging so much for single guys it's mainly couples that go. So sad for us as mmf is our preference. We don't enjoy the dunes which seems the only place to find someone for our preference. |
