"We will still be here!"
Serious question, are the Bars/Clubs out there getting any support at all from the Goverment? In the UK they were getting cash grants, I believe and access to loans(although reported today banks aren't helping as much as expected) |

Well we phone up today and was told to call back tomorrow. So hopefully we will get more information tomorrow. I’m not sure what kind of help we will get as we were only open 4 weeks... |

When I just seen a post from someone who opened 4 weeks before we did and she was told she is not getting anything. Our Gestor is not much help as well. I’m not even sure why I pay him |

Had to Google Gestor lol maybe landlords will help, rather than lose tenants? I hope there's a PDI worth returning to, after this ends. UK deaths may reach 1000 per day, by this weekend |

Our death toll is now going the correct way. And new cases have been going down for the past few days. Sadly the new cases of late have all been health workers. |

Are you talking about GC, as opposed to Spain as a whole? In the UK it's reported that Spain had it's worst day yet. This is were it gets confusing... |

"Spain as a whole! It’s been a round 800 odd per day. It’s down at 500 today and new cases have been coming down from Saturday "
This is were confusion arises, the UK press reported today There were 864 new deaths reported in Spain on Wednesday, bringing the total to 9,053 since the COVID-19 outbreak began. Can't use quotation marks, as it would breach forum rules. All the mainstream news sources quote that figure. Italy is levelling out and the increase in Spain slowing but that's a massive difference between 864 and 500? |

So think about it like this. You are an island. You have relatively few deaths and cases. You have been on lockdown.
Would you open your borders up if the virus is still active or spreading in countries you expect visitors from ?
Think you can answer that question.. if you carnt..just openbyour own front door and let any stranger come in

Prices will drop significantly over the next months. There is nobody working in offices it's all computers at mo. To encourage ppl to travel again prices will drop. Hotels will drop too they are all empty now and will be offering all sorts to get ppl to come. Wait it out to see what happens I believe Oct could be the first month but who knows |

"Stay positive guys. Oct is a long way off still. We were thinking of booking for Oct but prices sky high at moment. Thinking about Jan or Feb next year xx"
We've noticed the prices are high for October. You would think the travel companies would drop their prices. |
