Hi
We used to have an apartment in Gran Canaria but sold it last year.
Looking to stay in PDI in January and would prefer a 4 star hotel with a nudist area.
la Mirage is full and we think Venus may be a little small.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Venus Star is twice the size of La Mirage.....the old Venus Resort was smaller, not the new one. Hope that helps  |

Yes we have stayed there twice and going back again end of March.
Couples only for staying but heard that single fems can get in on day pass (can't confirm that though)
Plenty fun to be had during the day and the large playroom sees some action 
Evenings tend to be quieter as most people seem to head out to the clubs. |

Hi, we're planning our first trip to PDI and trying to decide on where to stay.
Can anyone tell us what prices are like for food and drink in the Mirage and Venus hotels? Is breakfast included?

La Mirage is self catering but does food(very good food!) at the bar....from full breakfasts, through to snacks, burgers etc
It goes onto your bar bill, which you can pay for at reception the next day, or periodically during your stay, or just settle it when you check out. Prices are very reasonable, oh and they do lovely coffees too.
I believe Venus Star has a more formal restaurant but we haven't stayed there yet, so can't comment further. |

Venus Star has a bar and restaurant which has a good range of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. I can recommend the long Island ice tea during happy hour when you get 2 pints of it for €7.50! It is self catering but you can add the buffet breakfast to a standard room, or it is included if you book a suite. Breakfast is great and served 9am till noon. Venus Star is couples and single ladies only. We have stayed there 3 times and have already booked to go back again.  |
