We're heading to Gran Canaria in March while the Maspalomas Carnival is on and would love to hear from anyone who has been before.
It's on from 5-15 March and we'll be in Maspalomas from 3-12 March. |

It's a long procession of floats, it's very good but a nightmare to get about, as a lot of the roads are closed  |

The Maspalomas one finishes around 14th March but starts 2 weeks prior.
Unlike the Pride and LGTB events this is for the locals.
We went last year for a long weekend and the Yumbo on the last night was crazy.
Yes you have a parade of floats that gets bigger every year.
And they have the election if Queens and Drag Queens too.
PDI round the Yumbo was not a pretty sight or smell on the Sunday mornint  |
