Cannot raise the landlady two days before we arrive in Playa del Ingles

Two of us heading to Gran Canaria this weekend.
Booked the flat and flights months ago.
All sorted - just need to finalise address of flat and entry arrangements.
Been trying to contact the landlady through the UK website and by telephone.
No response.
Called the website helpline and operator was excellent.
She tried unsuccessfully to contact landlady and noted she had been dormant for a while.
Now in the hands of their Spanish team.
We arrive Saturday night.
I'm not worried about a refund but I am anxious now about securing a place to stay.
Does anyone have similar experiences and what was the outcome?
Gonna scour the web tonight for alternative accommodation as a contingency.
