Can anyone give us an update on Secrets. Is there still a problem with entry fee? What's it like inside now? Are the staff more friendly? We're going in December and always been our favourite place xxx |

They charge either 20 30 or 40 euros per couple (but that does give you 2 3 or 4 drinks respectively) so it's just like the minimum spend as before. The layout is pretty good with more room devoted to couples than before, but you do get the odd one or two single guys wandering around in the couples section, so couple be policed better in that respect, as for the bar staff.... they are the same moody sods as always especially when it comes to settling your tab at the end of the night.... stock taking seems to be more important than service your clients. |

I went last Saturday as a single man.first impressions were good but then the realisation that by extending the couples play area there is very little space left for play outside the couples area,we cannot even access the showers or jacuzzi.so for my 50 euros I get two drinks and that your lot.as I had nothing else to do I sat there drowning my sorrows so that’s another 35 euros.
Very expensive night(85 euros) and in all the time I have been coming to gc I would say the worse night I have had.
You live and learn I have been coming to gc for years but it seems single men are not welcome anymore  |

Has there been changes in the last couple of weeks ?
We were in secrets Every night from the 1st to 15th Oct. They had just started the pay at door thing on about the 7th but showers and jaccuzi was open for single guys at the time |

We went in October when they changed the policy on the door. As we are friendly with the all the staff we asked them why they changed, it was for two reasons mainly 1) A few people weren’t settling their tabs and slipping out. 2) A lot of people were getting pissed up in other bars and clubs and then going into secrets just to use there facilities as they were better and you had more room.
We think the fee is very reasonable you name a club in the uk that you don’t have to pay to get into let alone getting your drinks as well.
On the busier nights security was on the entrance to the couples room and they wasn’t letting anyone pass.
My only complaint is that the lockable rooms are in the couples area so if you want to party privately with a single guy you have to try and get him through the couples area.
Everyone is different and we all like different things but i do believe Secrets is the best place in PDI the staff are nice once they get to know you and there’s security all around for your safety.
All that said it can still be a bit intimidating for first timers just accept it and embrace it and you will love it. |

I agree with this. Its a nice club and looks great inside. Secrets is essentially a big dance floor with a large couples only area (which is great- two large orgy rooms).
The only bits of the club guys can go are the dance floor, the corridor leading to the dark rooms and the big hot tub/showers.
Because it's quite loud it can be more difficult to socialise.

I totally agree with what you are saying and can understand the changes. We've got friendly with the staff by going in to drink and dance, not just to use facilities. Like you we've become friendly with the staff and owner, who is lovely. It's a shame about the single guys though as we've had some great nights with fit Spanish guys in the private rooms. I'd hate to think they have been put off. Roll on December for our 4th visit this year x |

I understand the pay at the door policy.
We've been in quite a few times,and left because it was quiet.
We would look in again later to check if anything was happening.
Once you've paid can you then get re-entry?
We are back for Christmas so would be interested to know the situation. |

We think a music free zone would be an improvement, we like to hear the sounds of pleasure when playing, it’s just far too noisy in there, we use the clubs mainly for dancing, and arranging future meets  |

I think you misunderstood the post, the music is playing throughout the club, it would be better if you could only hear it in the dance area |

We travel 5or more time a year go into all the club the drinks are 6euro each even the bars only thing is cheep is the beer so you are not paying to get into the clubs if you pay you stay and then more people will chat dance and have fun ?????? |

We have been here since Saturday 9th and have been to our usual clubs so far... Comeback bar & Fun4all been really busy (Comeback bar even has 5 staff on most nights in order to cope)..
Secrets has been hit & miss depending on who is in - trouble is you do now pay on the door even before walking inside so you cannot just pop in and out without paying at least 20 euro per cpl (more for single guys) - club layout changed a lot - much bigger area for couples - Vip table areas in main bar (not sure about that idea) and there are some lockable playrooms where single guys can access along with one open area.
2x2 now under the new ownership of Pamela & Nicklas also busy - much older clientele though - but again very busy...
Here for another 10 day’s or so...
