This is the busiest October we have seen yet, imagine is packed every night with some fantastic couples and secrets (last night) was heaving.

CITA WARNING - theres a beggar approaching couples holding out a card and if you wave him away he spits at the female. Quite short, moustache, fat, seems to be in the area most evenings. First time it happened we were in Los Porches restaurant and they called Police. Just happened again, as we walked to Cita, only he didn't appear to actually spit. I let rip at him and he didn't flinch, no point in us trying to ring Police, so best to warn people out here.... |

Daft thing is Mrs l would easily knock him out, she properly scares me at times

We had that exact dilemma, I punch him out and get arrested? The fact he didn't flinch when I let rip, shows a couldn't care less attitide. We'll be walking down with friends and hoping we bump into him, the next few nights!! |

Flight out cancelled thanks to Thomas cook. Just been emailed to say the replacement flight is delayed by an hour.
BUT when you see the opening of the email "we are sorry to inform you that your flight ...." bit of a heart stopper.

Arrived last night, staying at Labranda Marieta, enjoying the rooftop sunbathing and bar right now, about 25 degrees, checked out how busy Kiosk 4 was ready for tomorrow - a handful of sunbeds free at 11.30am, but not many! Looking forward to hitting the bars and clubs :D xx |

Hi guys. Can any of you give us some advice on kiosk 4 please as we’ve never ventured there but want to next week? Do you pay for the beds and is there anywhere to get a drink? Also do most of you get a taxi to maspalomas from pdi then walk from there? Please excuse our ignorance lol xx |

It's 7.50 Euros for two sunbeds with a parasol I think (someone correct me). Just pick a spot and an attendant will be along shortly to take payment. The kiosk sells drinks, snacks, ice creams, etc. There's also a guy that comes round with a coolbox selling ice creams and cold drinks. You can walk along the beach from PDI, but it's about a 45 min walk (very nice though). A taxi from PDI to Maspalomas lighthouse is about 7 Euros, and then it's an easy 5-10 min walk along the beach from there. x |

We get the bus €2.80 for 2 of us to Maspalomas bus station from PDI. 15% discount for a return. But we are just tight! |

Well, we've had our last night, so time for reflection and consideration of the future.
Biggest October crowd ever, yet at times, numbers appeared low, in the Bars/Clubs? Clubs randomly starting to charge admission, Bars overcharging, a plethora of single guys...it has changed.
Fantastic friends, spontaneous sexy fun BUT it lacked some of the buzz of years past and we can't figure out why? Imagine Bar was our rock, it has evolved from an average size Bar, into a much larger Bar, with added playroom. Crowds at their peak, filled it and every night was 10/20 times what it started off as. Tonny & Saskia are there to make everyone welcome and still find time to chat and share advice with newbie couples.
One of our most chillaxed holidays ever.....now to pack and head home |

2 weeks in pdi it was a blast . Patricia bar most of the nights .2x2 was great fun .. secrets well they charge now entre fee even for a single girls .. dunas still fun and no problems at all .. just watch your bill at the end of the night at clubs .. single guys all been nice this time .. ha ha
Yumbo been so much fun as well .
Had a problem 1 night on the way back to hotel ..but my own mistake should get taxi and not walk at night .. thank you for all who made holiday to remember.. and enjoe rest of your holiday xx |
