We've not been down there yet but a local report says that the beach at Guardamar is closed.
Apparently there are lots of dead fish and animals lying around and the closure is because of the health hazard.
Los Tusales (AKA La Marina naturist beach) is actually part of Guardamar, so maybe that is included as well.
We will try to have a look in the next day or two. |

We've had a walk down to Cala Mosca today.
The good news is that there is still a beach. Just.
It's probably lost around 75% since we were last there in June, but what bit there is left isn't too bad.
The two Playa Flamenca beaches have taken a bigger hit, especially the more northerly one. Very badly scoured out. |

The town centre beaches in Guardamar have been closed. The beaches in outlying areas have been open, probably because the Town Hall hasnt got enough manpower to police it. There is a lot of storm debris on the beaches but this is slowly being shifted. A few dead fish but nothing to scare the holidaymakers away |

Approaching from the South look out for the large sign on the right for the camping site. Turn right at the sign, park in the car park (100m) Walk down board walk to beach. Turn right walk along beach to where it starts to get wider it will take you max 10 mins . Pick your spot up close to the ropes and you are there enjoy. Let me know what condition the beach is in after the storm. I hope to get there in 10 days time. |

The two beaches at plays flamenca are fine now. There is a little debris, but beach is usable. Been plenty of people there when we have visited over the past few days. |

The beach is good at Guardamar also, the sea was clear of anything but water and people when I was swimming in it this week. |

One or two Ibiza style disco's up near the football ground but that's about it.
Be careful with the word "club" though. In Spain anything that describes itself as a "club" or nightclub is usually a brothel.
For a late night bar the Abbey at La Florida is by far the best in the area. |

Almost forgot.
The only swinger club in the area is Besos at San Fulgencio.
For anything else you have to go to Alicante. |

It's at Cala Mosca. Drive North on the N332 to the Lidl Roundabout. it's about 2km from Cabo Roig. Park in Lidl carpark, cross the road (be carefull) walk to the cliff top at the sea, turn right for about 100m to where there is a wooden pailing, there are steps down from there to the beach, enjoy, I hope to be enjoying an early morning nude swim there next week. Let me know how you get on! |

There is a direct bus from the airport into Torrevieja bus station. Depending on the time of day it's every hour or every 2 hours.
At the airport the bus stop is on the upper level, costs approx 7€ one way. |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Besos club in San Fulgencio in closing its doors after the new years party.
We will be open as normal until the 2nd January then we close.
We have had a great time here & met lots of new friends but sadly it's time to close.
The good news is we open our new club in Guardamar hopefully on Saturday 1st February. It's 500sqm with a large outside area & a couples only area upstairs. So keep an eye on our website after Christmas to see any further updates. Don't forget to spread the news & hopefully we will see you all next year........ that's if we don't see you this year.

Unless you go to Alicante then it's Besos for both social and fun.
The old premises at San Fulgencio closed on 1st January and the new one at Guardamar opens early February.
