How much they charge to go there I think they will keep it open.

Chopped 3 days off our October 10 day break! We cancelled - and got a full refund within a week - rebooked with Jet2 (£17 more) and managed to change our apartment dates to suit!

Only ever had one prob when flight cancelled, its usually been fine. I empathise if its a family holiday and affects accommodation too.

UK Based in Northern Scotland we have few other options than Ryanair to Canary Islands. We fly to Fuerte 3/4 times a year from Edinburgh/Prestwick and rarely pay much over £120 for two people return. Invariably on time, we just view it as 4 and a half hours sitting on a stagecoach bus with wings. Happy days.

Ryanair MAY close bases in Tenerife and Gran Canaria, see attached link

We're on Ryanair on the 27th to Bratislava.

Hoping these Spanish strikes doesn't have a knock on effect to other European destinations
