New to the area and finding it pretty quiet here. What do people do for fun and is there anyone young lol? Seems very couply with no, or very few single young guys. I know there is a nudist beach near but not had time to check it out yet |

Firstly the beach is Playa los Tusales which stretches from the Segura estuary to roughly level with the La Marina camp site. Long sandy beach (around 1.5 kms) backed by dunes and forest. If you want some fun in the dunes a single lady would have no problems.
However, La Marina urbanisation isn't really the hottest nightlife on the Costa Blanca (to say the least) Other than a few bars and restaurants there isn't much else and, as you already seem to have noticed, the demographic is mostly older couples (bit like us really  )
There are very few (if any) non Spanish younger single guys living there and the place just doesn't attract that kind of holidaymaker. In the summer months it is much more family orientated (Benidorm it certainly isn't)
For younger single guys you really have to tap into the local Spanish community, and even that's a bit thin on that Urb.
On the up side you are not far from Besos club at San Fulgencio (10 minutes drive) and can be at Jardin del Eden (just outside Alicante) in around 30 minutes.
There are also the Casa Fiesta parties at Rafal which is also around 30 minutes from you. Party dates for August are the 6th (mixed daytime pool party) 17th (mixed party) and 31st (couples and single ladies only)
For more international vanilla nightlife the Orihuela Costa area (just the other side of Torrevieja) is about as good as it gets on the south Costa Blanca. It includes the areas of La Florida, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, and Cabo Roig and (especially in the summer months) all have much more for a single lady (or guy) than anything you will find in La Marina, Guardamar, or Santa Pola.

We can vouch for the casafiesta parties, been to most over this last few years. Some single ladies have attended, and can say you would be made welcome. I can imagine some situations may be a little intimidating for a single female, but certainly not at these parties. |

Yes the parties are well worth a try.
While we don't get there as often as our friends above, we would never miss one when we are in Spain. Back in September.  |

Haha I’m happy to hang with like minded folk in a social setting but when it comes to playtime, I do generally prefer younger. Always exceptions though isn’t there. I am quite keen to try the club and the beach though |

We have just got back from a break near la marina and visited el Rebollo nudist beach. Was our first time and pretty exciting. We stayed in the first section which appeared to be couples but we understand further along things get a little more adventurous. Maybe next time.  |

Just a small correction. El Rebollo is the textile beach that runs north from roughly where the campsite road meets the beach and up towards La Marina itself.
The naturist beach is Playa Los Tusales to the south of the road.
The first 100 metres or so is also textile, the naturist part starts at the end of the first (big) dune then runs all the way to the river Segura estuary. Even its common name (La Marina) is a misnomer as it's actually part of Guardamar.
Most naturist couples tend to stay at either end of the beach, the central part is almost exclusively gay.
In all the years we have never seen anyone getting too adventurous on the beach itself but quite often there can be some fun to be had in the dunes/forest behind. Couples looking for single guys will have no problems but the other way around can be hit and miss. |

we witnessed a couple trying to discretely have sex just further along from us on the nudist section. Was pretty hot but wasn’t sure if it was the thing to do on the beach or not. |
