We are a couple from Sweden, who moved here to live out our dream. For those of you we haven’t met yet, please come in for a drink and a chat over your next holiday.

All of them were very clean and I couldn’t find anything to fault them. Even when some of them limit the number of single men and I happen to be the one to be left out, that’s ok. I actually applaud clubs that make decent couples feel comfortable instead of feeling drooled over x | |||

Haven't seen many reviews yet, so it's a case of going along and see if it suits us. You will always get regulars, because like us, they meet up with holiday friends, but some groups will go elsewhere if it's not for them anymore | |||

People were wandering around the play area in street clothes, on other nights, didn't bother me, but it did lots of others. So back in line with the thread, we usually attend 2x2 on a Monday, which was couples/females night. Is this still the case? Any information on couples nights is appreciated. However Monday is still couples only (but males by invitation). Whether this means an invite by couples or management, we didn’t find the answer. That said, we didn’t see any single males on our recent Monday visit and would certainly recommend another visit to make your mind up. As we all know, every same day at the same club can be different, so one Saturday could be different from another Saturday and so forth. But we have used 2x2 for many years now on a Monday night and have gone from up to down and back up again. You may find your pending visit will be a similar experience to ours and a far different one from your last. Good luck and enjoy | |||

Went in on another night, single guys everywhere, and every time a couple went through to have some fun, there was a line of guys following there every move. As we are quite new to visiting clubs, It did put us off a bit, so after one drink, we left. " Unfortunately, some do feel a sense of entitlement, as they have paid their €30. I used to find it a pain and I stopped going in the play area, unless we could get a locked room. I will add that it was only the Spanish boys who we had issues with. When Chris's ex partner Katie was there, she ran a tight ship and would frequently go into the play area, cleaning and would throw any nuisance males out. | |||

It doesn’t matter where you go or what country, on a mixed night, you always have the possibility that single men will follow you around, hence called the wanking dead. Nevertheless, there are single men who do not want to be tagged or part of this, and will approach in a different way. Nevertheless, I appreciate you may find it off putting, so wherever you are, try to keep your club visits to couple only nights. In terms of Gran Canaria and pdi, I would suggest that with 2x2, stick to Monday nights and you’ll most likely have a more enjoyable experience. Outside of this, then most places operate a mixed environment, so we would recommend Eternity on Saturdays as it’s more populated with couples than singles. And every day of the week, Secret. Secret has had a refurb and the layout is excellent. The left side of the club play area is couples only, the right side is for single men and couples who want single men. They are very strict with singles visiting the couples area and will escorts men off the premises should they break the rules. Very refreshing and cleverly implemented to protect their clientele regardless of preference. If it’s a drink and a social, then you can’t go wrong with Imagine Bar and Comeback. Though our personal preference here will always be the Imagine Bar. They too have made some changes and it is more private than comeback in that you have to ring the buzzer to get in, which does create a safe and secure environment. I know we’ve gone slightly off piste with the original subject, but hope this helps x | |||
