We are thinking of going to the BBQ at Venus Star (not sure whether it would be Sat or Tue yet) anyone else going who isn't staying on the complex?

Is it worth 59€?

We went on the Saturday just gone (8th)... Had a great time, well worth the money we thought.

It was 60eur for the both of us. Might have been 59 but didn't hang around for change!!

Only thing is that before the bbq time, think it was 5:30 you have to pay for your drinks.

Think you will find that the BBQ in October is from 14.00 till 17.00

These are the winter season times.

You can still stay in the resort until about 21.00 hrs

Perhaps a silly question but...if you're staying at the Star, we assume you still have to pay? At Cap, you don't have to pay for the pool party at Jardins if you're staying there, but then there was no food or drink included.

Yes.

It's according to there website. 39 euro for those staying. 59 for those visiting for the BBQ.

Yes you still have to pay, but only if you want to eat and drink, all you miss out on is sitting around the table for 45 mins.

Last time we stayed we had one bbq and didn't eat at the next bbq.

We fill the fridge from the local supermarket and get a few drinks from the bar.

We find if we have eaten breakfast then we don't really get value for money from the bbq.

We haven't paid for the bbq and will decide on the day.

You can join in with everything apart from the eating

Thanks! It wasn't about the money per se, more whether we had to book, but a fair point as we don't really drink. Not long now!
