We are heading to PDI from April 16th to 21st for our first visit. We are staying at The Gold Hotel and we are just looking for a bit of advice as to where to head in the evenings?
Ideally looking for the best bars/clubs & restaurants. Also what time is best to head out in the evenings?
Any tips would be welcome so we have a bit of a heads up before we get there! You can reply here or via direct message.

We are at gold as well but sadly our week is ending today  . The 360 restaurant is very nice and only 300 yards away with an very nice cocktail bar attached called Atelier . Open top terrace and fab cocktails... glass multi coloured lift that goes up n down on the outside . Also there’s a bar area called Santia with lots of small quaint bars and the club 2x2 below . About 10 mins walk ( left out of the hotel) is cita centre which is basically a shopping centre but has comeback bar imagine bar secrets club and fun4all club and a adult cinema in . About 10 mins walk ( straight out the hotel ) is yumbo centre . Lots of bars restaurants shops and the centre of the carnival this week . If you like something a bit more upmarket then a taxi ride down to the lighthouse district ( 6€) you will find lots of lovely restaurants. Enjoy your stay at gold . |

If its the swingers meet up bars (imagine and comeback) we normally head in there around 10pm so we can meet up with the people we message from 'who is near'.
It us busy until around 1am when people head off to clubs.
Be prepared to turn nocturnal lol. |

We tried Patricia’s swing bar for the first time last week,
Really nicely fitted and laid out, lady running very friendly but wasn’t many people in, though it was early.
Only problem for us was apart from us almost all the 10 or so people were smoking and it was quite smelly quickly.
We went over to fun4all which used to have a problem with smokers but know has a separate area for them.
Had a nice chat with other people and always feel comfortable in there.
Went to Secrets on the Friday, very busy and had a much better atmosphere then other times we have been when hardly anyone in. |

Wondering if there's any daytime play in the hotels?
FwB and I are in Gold from the 8th April - know they have a spa on the deck and clothing optional sauna, or is the play reserved for the dunes / evening? |

We find you can get food anytime but the swingers bars dont get going untill 10pm and clubs from midnight.
Come back and imagine are probably on par.
Secrets we find is the best club.
But everyone is different xx
Enjoy your stay (we are there 19th - 29th) may bump into you

Gold is adult only but not just swingers use it. I've never seen any play on the deck. I've heard things in the rooms though lol |

2x2 is best place to go if you want to play. Secrets is very big. Fun4All is more like a nightclub for swingers. Try them all  |

CITA CENTRE? OMG
Its dated, rotten and full of rats in the basement, but if that is what you want out of your holiday that’s fine, each to their own. We wanted to share with you other alternative meeting points for swingers. For example even MACH BAR in Cita is a Swinger Friendly meeting point, easy to find just up the stairs from Secret Club, you can smoke in the corridor, the owners are a very nice German Couple, they speak English and he is the best DJ on the island (he runs also a radio station) and plays good music and you can keep an eye on who is going to SECRET CLUB.
Other Swinger Clubs such as ETERNITY, MOONLIGHT DREAM in Nilo Centre are also very nice in their own unique ways and since Moonlight opens at 8pm can be used as a meeting point and decide later if you want to use the club facilities or go to ETERNITY which is next door.
BUDE4 BAR – SWEET MOMENTS | 2x2 | La Sandia Centre
If you are planning to go to 2x2 which is another very nice club, you might as well go straight to La Sandia Centre and meet at BUDE4 BAR or at SWEET MOMENTS you can smoke in either places as they have a dedicated smoking area and they both have a secret Love Den (if you cannot wait for the Clubs!) Just ask the owners.
CAFE’ DEL MAR - Faro Boulevard in Meloneras
If you are a small group of friends, try an evening at the CAFE’ DEL MAR, the cocktails are the best in the island for €5 to €7, the service is top end, they do a show every half an hour with a fabulous setting of lights and a water fall behind the stage... It’s amazing!
KASBAH - Shopping Centre
A Shopping Centre with a variety of Salsa Bars, Discos, Cocktails Bars not specifically for swingers but a very nice place to hang around and meet your friends. We would highly recommend as Meeting Points Pacha Terrace next to the Pacha Disco [full of young and trendy people] and other interesting places to visit while in this Centre include Dolce, China White, The Garage and Stop in Brazil for those who are Salsa Aficionados.
YUMBO - Shopping Centre
Most renowned for the Gay scene nevertheless a lovely place to hang around for most people, with a large variety of Cocktail Bars and Restaurants to choose from with the occasional show in the main square.
Last but not least we do think Imagine Bar is overhyped and you could easily get lost in the Cita labyrinth trying to find this meeting point as well as ComeBack, but all what we are saying is: - There is no need to wear the “I am a Swinger” Tshirt! You have your phone, you can keep an eye on who is near you in Fabswingers... just enjoy your holiday in Gran Canaria and make the most of it!

Loved Moonlight Dream even if a taxi ride away but taxis are cheap. Friendly bar with mostly Germans and Brits and great playrooms. Had a couple of great nights there.
Fun4all is good but as others say more like a bar atmosphere ... Secrets is a full on buzzing club with playrooms. Depends how energetic you are !!! |

As people have said above try a few and find out what you like, we prefer going to imagine bar around 9 30 for a few drinks and decide which club to go to from there. After chatting with other couples.
We also like the yumbo center, it's a great laugh and try a tapas place called wapa tapa!! (Google it or check out on trip advisor) you have to book in a few days in advance.
Use the who's near function on fab and you could meet anywhere.
