Thanks for the tip, have been looking once a week but if you don't get in there early the places go like hot cakes.

You did well. We’ve been monitoring the bookings all month waiting for November to come out and tried to book the day they did only to find there is a takeover prebooked for 9 days and no full weeks available .... very miffed! |

We did well to get 12 nights. Checked first thing and no dates released. Looked randomly an hour later and they'd just been released.... So booked at same time as friends so so lucky, as an hour later no full weeks available.   |

Checked at 10am (French time) on the 10th Jan only to find that the booking window was not open, looked again at 1.30pm. the window had opened but most of the month had been booked,
Frustratingly there was still availability from the 18th to the end of the month except for 23rd when it was full! so ended up just booking the last 6 days.
I wrote, complaining, only to be told that a Danish group had booked the whole resort from the 5th to the 16th.
I don't think this is fair or healthy either and now I wonder if this booking had been pre-arranged before the booking window opened. |

It had been arranged before the booking window opened, yes. We had friends out there the week before the booking opened and reception told them the owners had taken a block booking for the dates you speak of. Bad show by LM! |

Like others, we had been watching for the dates to be released in November, checked on the 10th at 7am window not open, checked again at 12ish and had to be quick. Managed to get the dates we wanted 17th-29th |

Had posted earlier on the Forum about this subject!!......Although sympathetic with the fact that LaMirage is a commercial enterprise,and is about making money, our main complaint is the fact that we had friends there over New Year and they were told that there was a block booking by a Danish Group 5th to 16th November. Why did they not have to wait until the bookings opened like the rest of us??? I am no expert in Spanish Law but it smacks of discrimination???? |

Having been to La Mirage in excess of 20 visits we are increasingly appalled by their lack of information. They have managed to capture e-Mail addresses for all their past customers. Most businesses would die for that, but there has never been one piece of promotional material sent. The group booking is fine but couldn’t, they let people know and publish the date the booking diary goes live. They really need to up their game. We’ve ended up with just 5 nights. Most disappointed. |

We were quite lucky and were online mid morning purely by chance when the bookings were opened... when we were there in November there were rumours re block bookings in various months for this year... we managed to get booked from 16th to the 29th... but as we fly in on Sat 14th will still have to find other accommodation for a couple of nights... not brilliant, but will still enjoy our usual jaunt... |

Think you would need to make a private deal with the owners though, but count us out, we prefer LM when there are lots of nationalities there, not just from one country! |

Brilliant idea count us in for 2021 Got 3 nights but not sure we are looking forward to it now Sounds like it might be clique |
