We're staying in the Abora Caterina in March all inclusive.
Stayed there last October, nude sun terrace and couple of minutes walk to Cita 15 mins Sandia or 10 mins Yumbo also 5 mins to the dunes.
It was clean, comfortable and the food was the usual all inclusive ... we certainly didnt starve ... the only complaint was you had to pay extra for the really nice coffee but I stuck to rum |

Why all inc? Cheap to eat out (El Toro II) has amazing steak and drink is very cheap, especially when you can take duty free with you..... personally think it gives more fredom there... we go all inc to other places but love self catering in GC |

Personally I never considered going all inclusive but we tried it in fuereventura as there isn't much else in the south then we did the Caterina last October and will again in march
Even being very conservative two people will spend a minimum of £500 a week in PDI on food and drinks and it's only £250 extra for all inclusive for 2 and we drank more than that |

Do they have customer use microwaves? I tend to blam all inclusive food in the wave when the plate is full as it always gets cold by the time you've waited behind the ditherers who seem never to have seen broccoli etc before! |

I agree but we do it the German way. Walk round, see what you want, get a plate and push people out of the way, take food then sit down and eat. Quite often we were finished three courses while people were still queueing for chips ???? |

At Catarina at the moment. Good choice of starters, provided you you are prepared to try things presented differdntly to you would have at home.
Agree some of the vegetables are not as hot as they could be, but still a good choice of main meals and always something nice to eat. |

"Don’t book the Caterina as the food is bloody awful cold and not much choice since it it went all inclusive
Not much choice? You're thinking of the wrong hotel my friend.
Cant wait to go back"
I’m definately not, this hotel is so sub standard with the food but the hotel is very nice.
I also know a lot of people who have the same opinion as me.
If you want a all inclusive hotel that is excellent, great food and a wonderful spa centre try the Eugenia Victoria. |

Don’t go all inclusive !!! There are great breakfast venues within walking distance of the Cita and at least 10 v good dinner restaurants in the Yumbo ( v high ratings on trip advisor... and they are right ) and even in the Cita Centre itself. And in the end it’s cheaper than All In which is also killing good venues everywhere of course !! |

Hi,
Couple of questions about the Catarina.
How’s the space for sunbathing If you don’t want to go nude?
Can you bring people back with you after the clubs?
Have had a couple of pm’s but would appreciate any other opinions.
Thanks

More than enough loungers, we never had a problem at any time of day even in summer.
24 hr security on the door so will probably not allow non guests in, I guess they look for the all-inclusive wrist bands. |

There are loads of places to eat out and really good value.
One of the Chinese buffet places in the Yumbo is fab.
The problem we found was that even b+b is so dear you may as well book all inclusive. |

You don't have to go nude on the roof, but you might feel the urge when you go there |
