Clubs in Maspalomas/PDI

Getting ready to book our first trip to Maspalomas/PDI in October. Tried to find a thread about the different clubs but couldn't find one, so please can you help us understand what they are, if they're for any specific audience or good times to go?
Any other tips gratefully received!

Hi,
As you say there is a lot of info already on the forum but for our two penny worth.
Stay near the Cita, so Catarina, Rui Princess etc or Gold near the Sandia so you can walk to the clubs and bars.
Imagine and Comeback are in the Cita, they are swingers bars but we haven’t found it easy to interact with others in either, most people seem to have sorted meets out, presumably on here, before meeting in the bars.
Fun4all, basement in the Cita is our favourite but it can be full on, like a Roman orgy or very vanilla with no play gong on at all.
Just depends who’s in.
We like it because you can get talking to people of all nationalities and even the nights it’s full on you can just stand back and watch without feeling awkward or pressured.
If you want a more full on playing place then 2x2, which is literally next door and you can see from your balcony if you stay at Gold, is probably the place to go.
We went, only played together but there was a lot of play around us and it has some novelty attractions. I can only assume the bonnet on the Fiesta is reinforced because it was a popular spot
Secrets, next door to Fun4all, the one time we went had little atmosphere but as always with all the clubs the people make it, so every night is different.
The walk between the Cita, where most places are and Sandia where 2x2 is, is about 10 mins along one road.

Thank you, that's really helpful. Though we're now very torn about where to stay! We were going to book Venus Star as we stayed in a similar hotel in Cap D'Agde and enjoyed being able to play by the pool etc, but now wondering if it's a bit too far away.

I think it depends how often you are going to clubs etc
Assume Venus star is a cab away, there are plenty of cabs outside the clubs but have heard a few people have had problems.
I would love to stay at one of the swingers resorts for a few days and forgo the clubs but we are a bit to green to have it 24hrs.
Perhaps someone who stays at the resorts could chip in with their experiences?

This is spot on review and we agree with most of it !! We tend to stay near the Cita centre because we enjoy the clubs there and it's not far to the La Sandia( 2 x 2 club) .
As regards to Secrets ( one of favourite clubs ) it can be hit from one night to the next and it also depends on what you're looking for.For us it's mostly " soft play " and we always seem to get lots of " Action " when there( went 3 times last year)  |

if we can just add our experience / knowledge here - The swingers resorts - La Mirage / Venus & Venus Star are all a short cab ride away from Cita - no more than 5 euros each way - and cabs are always plentiful at any time of night - there were some comments on here about a particular cab driver last year that was trying it on with people - but we have been going for over 10 years - getting cabs every night we are there & have never had a problem.
To also add to the comment on the the swingers resort being 24/7 - we were exactly of the same opinion for years - used to stay in a 'vanilla' hotel - but then were invited by friends to visit La Mirage on a day pass 3 years ago & it really changed our opinion. It is as full on or as quiet as you want to make it - we prefer playing in the clubs later in the night, therefore only really socialised within the resort - we just love the fact that we can all sunbathe naked - everyone is like minded so no judgemental people etc
Cannot comment on Venus or Venus Star as have not visited these. |

i got a cab back with a couple i met in a club in the Cita Centre they were saying one of taxi drivers attack the fem of a another couple two nights prevous other than that iv never heard anything but should always be careful |

Yes we heard this when we were out there in October and we think we got in his cab one night, because of the way he was and the description of him. This man was often outside 2x2 club when we came out, but we didn't get in his cab anymore . Told the club owner and he spread the word round the other cab drivers. I always sit behind the driver, he is less able to touch you then. Cab drivers are cheeky and will try it on, but this is the first time I've heard of anyone attacking anyone. So don't be alarmed and just be wary. If there is a problem, every cab has a serial number on the side of their car, think it begins with an 'L', this is the number you need if you need to report, we have been advised  |

Hey all.
We are looking to have our first visit to Maspalomas and was wondering where is good and close to action. We were going to book the bungalows on the golf resort. Ideally looking to be close to the naughty beaches for fun. Going end of August.
Anyone help or offer some helpful info |

if thats the dunas bungalows its a taxi or a long walk to the clubs etc and a lot farther than it looks to the dunes as I dont think you can take a shortcut through the golf course |

I stay there last year n took a short cut through golf course players werent too happy its still a long walk over dunes with all the Meercats pop up lol i just got a taxi to lighthouse n walk to kiosk 4 |

best way if dnt want alot of walking to dunes get taxi to big hotel i think its a rui hotel maspolomas walk thru the arch takes you right to the start of dunes not too far to kiosk 4 or dunes what ever u fancy |

Venus Star is far away from everything, but not much to anywhere by Taxi. There's a free phone in the foyer to call one and we never had to wait long for one. |

Venus Star is far away from everything, but not much to anywhere by Taxi. There's a free phone in the foyer to call one and we never had to wait long for one.

It was really quiet in the evenings when we were there (There may have been things going on, we just didn't hear anything!), but nothing to stop you organising private parties if you want to. |

It's a short walk from the lighthouse. The first bit is families then nudist then kiosk 4 then 7 (I think) which is the gay area then nudist most of the way to plays del Ingles when the last bit is back to textile

From pictures it doesn’t look like she has anything to worry about! Although being too self conscious myself I’m hoping that our visit in April sorts that out once and for all!! 3 months to get a naked by the pool body |

Single guys can't but Couples can go in on a day pass, last time we were in gran canaria we went 5 days out of 7...
We are just going to stay next time. |

Single guys can't but Couples can go in on a day pass, last time we were in gran canaria we went 5 days out of 7...

Yes you can. We do it all the time...
Show up at Venus after 12pm and say you want to stay for the day. You will get a very warm welcome and be shown around the resort. It costs €35 pet couple. You get a locker for your clothes, a couple of massive towels and use of the facilities: luxury beds by the pool, Jacuzzi, elegant playroom and a very horny vibe all round.

If the hotel is not a Swingers Hotel - like Venus, Venus Star, La Mirage or Magnolias - then you can go to the bar etc. like any normal hotel with no extra charge. |

If the hotel is not a Swingers Hotel - like Venus, Venus Star, La Mirage or Magnolias - then you can go to the bar etc. like any normal hotel with no extra charge."
Just for the record magnolias is not a swingers resort its purely naturist, although i am sure things go on behind closed doors , NO sexual activity is allowed in public areas , and to be honest all the better for it , its a place where eyoiu can relax totally and in close proximity to plenty of places /clubs / beach where you can be as naughty as you like |

We are booked into Occidental Margaritas next week - from peoples experience is it walkable to Cita? Google maps says it’s about 15min walk but it doesn’t say if it’s up a massive hill or anything?!

We are all booked up for 15th - 22nd October at the place we mentioned above.
We are very new to this so not sure what to do. We will try the nudist beach in the day and walk into the dunes as we are keen to have some fun there. As for clubs we are nervous about them but trying to work out which is best for us. We are not into swapping or anything like that just being watched and maybe people having the odd touch lol sorry to be so upfront about that we just like to let others know what we are looking for x |

First time? You will love it. Just walk downhill until you reach the rui hotel, walk straight through the arch and you will be on the dunes, veer slightly right and pick up the trail(red/green posts) take plenty of water as it's quite a walk to the nudist beach. Kiosk 4 is popular.
Cita centre is popular most people meet at either comeback or imagine before going to a club secrets and fun4all are both good there is also a sex cinema next door.

Hello all. Only 5 more days and 16 hours and 20 second to go now LOL Playa del Ingles on the 10th November to the 2nd December . I will be in the GREEN PARK hotel next to the Greenfields hotel ,
