What area code can we put in our account settings to look as if we local to maspalomas.. otherwise to locals we will still look as if we are in the UK.
I've tried 35100 but it won't accept this saying it must start with a letter.. |

In this forum I read an initiative to change the Postal Code TR24 for Spain.
It is an old "struggle", but the web's administrators don't want to do anything for the residents of Spain. |

Ourselves and quite a few others in Spain are now using the TR24 postcode on here.
The idea was that there would be so few (if any) Fabbers in the Scilly Isles that it would become a sort of default postcode for Spain.
Funny thing is though that since we did that we now get a lot of messages from people who seem to think we are in Tenerife (TR?)
There was also talk at the time of hijacking the Canada chat room at certain times of the day but it didn't really take off. |

Leave your post code as it is for the UK, and whilst your in Maspalomas use “ who is near”. It works the same as the UK as long as you are on line with either WiFi or your own internet network.
It is really that simple and very accurate. |
