We will be in Corralejo for two weeks at the start of June. Anyone out there then? We've seen nudist beaches mentioned a few times on here, tell us more? Ta |

Almost all the beaches in Fuerteventura are clothing optional (except the smaller town beaches in Corallejo itself). The best beaches are found on the south west of the town (either walk, bus or hire a car) towards the two Riu hotels. Before you get to them there is Flag beach, and beyond them are miles of soft sand and sand dunes where it is normal to be naked. Also the lagoons just north of El Cotillo are beautiful and a naturist paradise. They are about 15 miles away so car hire is essential (and quite cheap). Reportedly some play can be found in the stone circles on all three beaches, but we live on the island for a lot of the year and have seen very little. You might be better making contacts before you leave. Whatever, hope you have a great time and get that all over tan! |

That's just about it; anybody reading the almost daily new threads on here may be thinking that they're heading to some kind of hedonistic resort à la Cap d’Agde when it's simply just not the case. We went 5 times last year and saw very little.
We tend to go to El Cotillo now, mainly because we prefer the choice of better quality restaurants on offer to the hordes in the more competitive Corralejo area. With a hire car costing around £80 for 10 days (off-season) you can't really go wrong with either resort though. We split the daytimes between the two, we've had little bits of fun in both the dunes and the lagoons. It's not primarily what we go for but if a situation presents itself that we like the look of, we'll make the most of it.
Anybody whose main reason for heading out there is for having sex on the beach with strangers, they're better off going to a different location altogether for a greater chance of success.
Great pics on your profile btw, very classy. |
