Oh there are a fair few friendly ones who are happy chatting. A lot more Brits than last time we were there. |

Agreed, it is friendly down there.
Just not the kind of friendly that the OP is looking for I think.
At least I didn't see anything of that nature, other than the guys on the headland. |

We went down a few times in the evenings last summer when we were there. It was walkable from where we were staying so we took a couple of bottles of red and a picnic and settled in one of the pods.
It's a great place to watch the sun go fown but other than a couple of dog walkers early evening, nobody else turned up so we made our own fun. |
