First time PDI.. really fancy bbq party anyone recommend where to go please.. also best clubs.. heard lots saying imagine bar good for meeting prior to clubs. |

I've heard the Venus BBQ is excellent. It was couples only too so if you like a single male free zone it's probably for you.
As for clubs a lot depends on what you're after. I would say if you are more after a more couples environment give Secrets a try. There are single males there but I think I'm right in say there is a couples only area.
Fun4all is next door to Secrets and is a lovely place with wonderful staff that simply can't do enough for you. It is comparatively small to Secrets but perfectly formed.
If however you are looking for a greater amount of single males then 2x2 is probably for you. It's not in CITA but it's only a 10min stroll away.
Obviously, it depends on who is around and about and what you are specifically after at the moment of course just the same as clubs over here. Give them all a go and check out the websites of each before you go.
Last year there were a couple of meeting bars which aren't that far from each other so give them both a try.
Imagine bar is the go to choice for many people but I find Comeback bar a lot less noisy and lighter and its easier to talk, listen and see who you're talking to. My preference but they are relatively close to each other so give them both a try.
I know there was talk last year of a third meeting place opening but I can only comment on those I know.

We are at Venus Star Resort 4 to 10 Nov and looking for fun ideas. We’ll probably stay by the pool in the day, attend BBQ and foam party on the respective days but head out to bars/club(s) of an evening. Looking forward to making lots of new friends and acquaintances  |

That said it doesn't matter who you are so if you want to parade around like a peacock and socialise most of the night or just want to get straight into it then the great thing is that there's a place for you in GC.

We love 2X2 Sandia center is perfectly safe.
The basement of Cita can be a little intimidating but Fun4all and Secrets are both very near the entrance as is the Adult Cinema we have never heard of anyone having any problems in the basement of the Cita Center and we have been going over to Gran Canaria for over ten years |

Agree with you, all these areas are a little intimidating, especially at night time, but we've never had a problem. Once inside the clubs, it's a completely different atmosphere |

We tend to stick to the establishments that exercise some control, over the single guys they admit and aren't afraid to remove ignorant, pushy individuals, that won't take no for an answer and spoil the otherwise fun atmosphere.... |

Not a lot of point going to a couples night realistically as they are after couples. I suggest giving them the space to enjoy their night as it only winds them up (not the most difficult thing to do in my experience, I suggest) when they see single males in on a couples night. Plenty of other great clubs to try out in CITA and Nilo on a Monday. |
