We stayed there at Christmas all inclusive. Rooms were clean and tidy however the food left a lot to be desired. Only ate one breakfast and 1 dinner in the hotel the entire week. Restaurant right across the road is good and cheap and Kim’s bar just up the road does the best breakfast in PDI |

You can find Imagine Bar`` in the Cita Centre, it's on the top floor.
When you come in trough the main entrance you go up the stairs and then to the left, you walk past Marco Polo and Carlos V,
than you go to the right, we are on the left side.
Through the other entrance it's when you see the pink beetle, go up the stairs and turn left you will see us at your right side.

That's great! Love the Don Miguel. The reception manager can be a bit grumpy sometimes though!  I like the porter, he's very friendly. Hubby has a crush on the beautiful black girl that serves at the pool bar |

I usually stay in the Riu Palace Oasis Maspalomas but they wanted me to sell a kidney for the room rate this time. I've found everybody to be friendly and attentive at the Don Miguel so no complaints with the hotel or service here. Weather update for Saturday 24th. It's gorgeous again clear blue sky and abundant sunshine

We would prefer self catering, as we struggle to get up for breakfast, after a late night /early morning and dinner times don't really suit us either, so we don't eat in the hotel. We prefer package and there aren't many decent self catering options available. You been to any clubs yet? |

Popped into Imagine bar for a social drink with Saskia and Tonni, enjoyed a social coffee with friends I met last November here but I havnt ventured into the club's as such. I'm just relaxing and having a good time. Many of the couples out here don't meet singles And single ladies out here are rarer than gold nuggets on the beach. I'm not all about sex I like to socialise and just enjoy the ambience. |

Just got back from the Palace Oasis. They are closing in April as a four star all inclusive for refurb. Due to reopen sept/Oct as a 5 star half board hence the price increase |

Just got back from the Palace Oasis. They are closing in April as a four star all inclusive for refurb. Due to reopen sept/Oct as a 5 star half board hence the price increase "
Hi and thanks for the update, yes I popped in there the other day they reopen on Sept 21st. Which is fine as I'm back there 29th Sept. I certainly don't mind half board rather than all inclusive as I'm not a big drinker it's just an amazing hotel and location and the service are excellent. |

Unusual to go from an all inclusive to half board only.
Ours has just gone in the other direction after a re-furb and now there are security guys at the door checking for wristbands. |

They have changed that to attain the 5 star rating again. The Riu Palace Oasis was a 5* but dropped to a 4+ when it went all inclusive.

I booked a friend in last year for the day, evening meal etc etc and it was €75 euros for a guest ticket so it's not impossible but can be expensive If you invited a couple back. |
