Visiting Costa Caleta 7th—14th March for some sun and relaxation and who knows what else
Never been here before so would appreciate recommendations of where to go and where not to go etc etc
Anyone else there the same time too ? |

Caleta is very family based. Corralejo would probable be a better option (if you can change?). Caleta have a big beach (not naturist) and plenty of bars and restaurants. Corralejo just has more of everything including naturist beaches. El Cotillo is also worth a vist, Enjoy |

And corralejo is the Blackpool/ Brighton of the island. Full of chavs, cheap uk holiday makers on the piss and being a real specimen of the "Brit abroad" mentality.
Caleta de fuste may not be to everyone's liking, but it is quieter, more relaxed and doesn't have any of the above. Beautiful golf courses, family run pubs and bars and the locals are very welcoming.
Cotillo is the sleepy harbour fishing village with beautiful surroundings, can be a bit barren looking at times, but if you want naked sun bathing, a little play and tickle, then u can't go wrong here
This is only my opinion and not set out to upset other island experts, but I have lived on and off the island for the past 18 years and experienced all the beautiful island has to offer |

Agreed. It's where we spend half the year. |

Very Harsh indeed re Corralejo. Don’t be put off potential visitors ( mind you if the poster doesn’t like Brighton which is one of the best, if not the best, major seaside resort in the uk.....?) |
