We find that when it’s windy around the dunes side (Oliva beach), we go to el cotillo side. It’s completely different.
We learnt the hard way.. |

We love both Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura for different reasons.
The beaches are more paradise like in Fuerteventura but not much in the way of swinging. Gran Canaria beats it hands down for that.
La mirage is a great swingers complex to stay at in GC but would be pushed to get in now, unless there’s cancellations.
That’s our favourite. There are lots of other options though.
Gold, RIU palace and Neptuno are all good hotels but on the more expensive side.
Cheap and cheerful.. I would say Delores apartments as they have lovely views of the dunes from the nudist roof terrace. Very basic but inexpensive. Best for the clubs and bars too as it’s just a few minutes walk away.
