Hello everyone,
We are travelling to Fuerteventura during the new year's eve week.
As it's out first time, we would like some recommendations.
We found out about the lala club, how is it?
What are the best beaches?
We found out that apparently the island doesn't offer much for young people during this period. Is that true?
Are there any particular places where young people hang to usually?
Any additional information (even Spanish websites or forums) would be very appreciated.
Thank you |

It depends upon where you are staying and whether you hire a car. In the north the miles of sand dunes just south of Corralejo and the lagoons outside El Cotillo are beautiful (and clothing optional) Some playing reportedly occurs but we have seen little evidence despite what you read on fab. In the south Sotovento and the town beach at Jandia are also magnificent, and clothing optional.
There should be plenty going on, in Corralejo at least, but remember 6th Jan is a public holiday.
Lala's seemed to open and close very quickly. Apparently it's now a pole dancing club, though rumours suggest it might be open on Saturdays.
Whatever, hope you have a great time - and it is worth hiring a car if you want to sample all the island offers.
Unfortunately we will be back in the UK, but that doesnt matter as we are too old for you anyway! |

Thank you very much for the information, really appreciated.
We are actually renting a villa and a car, so we're planning to travel a little bit around the isle.
We researched the forum but we haven't found very precise information.
Does anybody knows any Spanish resource we could try to get to know more? |

Totally agree.....if you go to the South of the island don't forget to visit Cofete beach....lovely place....
Also try to reach southern beaches from Cotillo town......hard track but worh it....
Hiring a car is needed here if you want to visit some places......
Forget about Lala`s club... |
