Just been to barbeque event. It was massively OVERBOOKED!! An English couple were offered a separate table near the Jacuzzi away from the others. What a disgrace. We felt so sorry for them. To add humiliation when they were getting their money back to leave,after the crap treatment, they even had the cheek to charge them for the couple of drinks they had!!!! Bad organisation and a money tree for the owners! Check the numbers before booking and shame on you Venus.Bad bad bad service  |

Such a shame 
We tried to book a couple of weeks ago and we were told that they were full, so they used to be strict about numbers.
Obviously a policy change, that will ultimately kill, what used to be a great, sexy, afternoon, pool party atomosphere. |

I was thinking of heading there next week - fares are incredibly cheap just now.

We agree, were there at the same day.
Hade a good time ourself but felt sorry for them.
Don’t know what happend there as we alsow have heard that they have had limit in the past.
Maby not all of the ones that were there didnt book because they only asked us if we hade booked but we didnt have to show any confirmation. We hade heard that it would be a busy day and ower 60 people were coming...

having booked there for ten days from Dec the 1st this is the sort of feedback we weren't really looking for, but it's a good point that the info did pass through. So, it'll be better having a plan B for the BBQ day   |

Have to say: as the weather wasn’t the best possible ever for a full day on the beach, we’ve yesterday opted for the BBQ and it has been extremely pleasant. Not overcrowded, with most of the resident and few daily guests attending. Nice table setting, very good sangria, friendly and welcoming staff, and happy playing. In few words: a very positive day of total relax and good fun. |

We've been going to the Venus BBQ pretty much every time we have been in GC for the last year or so, this is the first time I've heard of it being overbooked, it certainly hasn't been overbooked the several times I've been there. Looks like it could have been a one-off hopefully. X |

Went last Wednesday for the first time,
Enjoyed the day and certainly found it value for money,
Arrived about 1pm and left about 6pm.
Lots of good conversation and sexy use of all the facilities.
We've ben going to GC for a few years now and are quite happy about adding this event to our annual holiday.
