Been tonight, hope the owners read this for their own good.
Great club but you need to designate a separate smoking area,I smoke but even my eyes were burning and my clothes now stink of tobacco and a lot of couples left because of this |

We thought the club was nice, the play rooms were good and clean.
The lady was in a bad mood, it was a very busy night and we probably drank more than they envisioned. The Guy serving worked his socks off and was still cheerful. Yes it was very smokey in the bar area but unfortunately that's what we've come to expect now in Gran Can and reason why we try to avoid packed clubs/bars.
And yes we would go back, we all can have off days.. |

I had a great night, yes, it was a little loud, but when you have 160 people drinking in the same place this is to be expected. The all inclusive night is a new idea and it needs a few tweaks to make it work better for everybody. I think they were a little overwhelmed, I will be heading back to Moonlight this weekend and next week, and shall report back.
There are so many choices here in PDI, I'm sure we can all find what we are looking for?
Anyway, thankyou to Nicole & Giuseppe for trying something new. X |

We had a good night last night in Moonlight, we really like the layout of the club, it was very clean and looks well run ( ok the bar service early on was strained, but it was extremely busy ) but we have to say the smoke was a real problem did get better as people left ( you know it's bad when smokers are leaving because of it )and so did the service at the bar ( thought the staff worked incredibly hard all night) but thought the concept was a great idea.
The club just need to get a much better air filtration system put in place or figure out a smoking area away from the bar area, also more air con put in both in the bar and the play area.
Would also say turn the music down a little to allow people to talk to each other without shouting but that just our personal opinion.
All in all we had a good night but we both have a sore throat and eyes this morning and clothes that stink that much of smoke they are on the balcony
Would we return ? Yes if they sort out the smoke issue. |

"On another note, do all the clubs in PDI allow smoking inside? Mr is still recovering from throat cancer and unsurprisingly isn’t keen on smoking. "
2x2 is smoke free in the club. They have an outside smoking area which is totally separate.
Secrets have a smoking room which although is not completely separate is very small so you can't get many smokers in there and the club is so big it's never a problem.
Fun4all and Eternity allow smoking but have really good A/C so we've never found it a big issue.
Imagine bar and comeback are smoke free inside but allow smoking on the terrace. |

I agree with this post, the bar lady was rude and if your trying to promote the club it’s probably not the best thing to do , but apart from that and the smoke issue, the club is lovely and very well laid out, if they sort out the smoking issue this would be a gem.
We will definitely at least try it again and then see.. |

Thanks for the info. We both really hate the smell of tobacco, especially on our clothes or in our hair. |

Shame to hear about the smoke problem being so bad, we were going to go on Wednesday but shan't bother now.
It's a shame because it otherwise looks a really nice place.
We're going to message the owners to suggest they have a no smoking night, gotta be worth a try! |

There really should be no smoking indoors, think that is law, as everywhere else and if they're losing customers over it, perhaps it's something they need to address. |

I smoke and don't mind moving away or going outside. If a club can't provide that then it will go under that's life.
We all go out to enjoy ourselves not to upset anyone.
Just thought I'd give a smoker view point |

What is the law in Spain regarding smoking indoors?
And as someone who smoked for 30 years before the BIG C came to play I’ve nothing against smokers, just don’t like the smell these days |

We smoke but think even we would struggle with the smokey atmosphere. Think they need to address this urgently. Maybe sort an outside area for smokers if it's feesable. |

Yes it is not very business minded. Dare I say old fashioned. Coming from smoke free pubs/clubs/restaurants/public spaces in Ireland, it is a shock to the system. |

Yes same here. We have been in restaurants in GC where people have smoked around us, as we eat. Not good! |

Interesting post.
We have found that most clubs in GC are smoking. As non-smokers, we found Secrets to be the best for us, due to the size of the club (over 900m2). We found Fun4All quite smoky but nevertheless we enjoyed. Eternity was somewhere in the middle.
Moonlight Dream is on our list and many of our friends have been over to PDI recently and currently, so we will get their valued opinion so we have some expectations before visiting.
We will visit nevertheless, as we do like to club hop; it’s part of the enjoyment for us.
The owners actually mailed us before we contacted them and have been back and forth with their communication. So our experience of the guys has been good to date.
They’ve appeared to be proactive at times in the forum and the drink all you want is a great idea (though they probably didn’t take into account us Brits and Irish are pretty good at drinking on our hols )
I have no reason to not discount any of the negative comments and I do hope the owners read and take this on board, as it seems that the club has great potential, but in this day and age, businesses have to be agile and dynamic and move with the times.
Looking forward to visiting on the 5th November. |

Hello everybody, we have to admit we were a little overwhelmed, so many people, so early. We had extra staff organised, but not until later in the evening. We have taken on board your comments and will be making small changes to improve.
There was an electrical problem within the air filtration system, so the smoke was not being removed, this has been repaired.
We will be restricting the numbers on a Wednesday, and asking people to make a reservation via whatsapp, details will soon be on our website.
We also understand that we need more staff earlier in the evening, and more glasses!
The music is regulated by a decibel meter, so was no louder than usual, again we feel that by restricting the number of people to less than capacity, the excessive noise issue will be solved.
We thank you for your constructive comments and hope the changes we are making will improve the night for everybody. We look forward to welcoming you back to Moonlight Dreams soon.
Kisses

"We smoke but think even we would struggle with the smokey atmosphere. Think they need to address this urgently. Maybe sort an outside area for smokers if it's feesable. "
We were there on Wed and agree it was too smokey but considering the number in the club at the beginning of the night then by the later part of it, with numbers more realistic for a midweek, it wasn't that bad considering the air con issue, but that only cools the air within a room and doesn't remove the smell...
It isn't feasible to have an outside space due to location but possibly a partition near the front door with an extractor fan above pulling out the smoke and a fan blowing fresh air in at the dance floor end which the air con in the middle cooling it would be helpful and some padding along the edge of the shed roof in the dark roon would be a good idea, Wednesdays takings should cover the costs...
Great little club with plenty of space to socialise or play (even tho it puts a whole new perspective on a "German Market") nicely decorated with the changing area immaculate and clean. The 30 all in plus the taxi fares is a good idea as lots like to visit more than one club in o their holidays.
Well done for coping with the stress and big shout for the 2 girls who jumped in on helping with table clearing and the bar ...

We had a great night there last Wednesday. Agree it was too smokey but the club was very busy. My other half found it especially so and got to her eyes and was the worst of all clubs as the others now have separate smoking areas. However as Guiseppe said they had an electrical problem and hopefully this is now resolved with the extractors. There were a lot of people in early on and they were under a lot of pressure behind the bar. But a few of the girls (mine included) helped with the glass collection and as soon as extra help arrived all was ok. Still a good value night, great company and an extra special play for us. The clubs layout and decor is great, staff friendly and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Would certainly recommend a visit xx |

Well we heard some negatives about moonlight,so we decided to see for ourselves. The hosts couldn't of been more welcoming, guided tour and answered any questions we had.
The place it self was immaculately clean throughout. We love what they've achieved in decor and theme.
Something very unique.
As an ex club owner and still party organiser's we understand things can happen that are out of your control but the measure of your professionalism is how you address any issue's and these guys seem to have sorted that out. Listening to feedback and making changes.
Well done Moonlight team
We,ll be back at some point and highly recommend.

Just posting an update here. We went again on Thursday night for the erotic show. Certainly a nice well laid out club and very clean. Owners are a very nice friendly genuine couple. In view of the comments about the club the owner said the law on smoking is different in clubs to bars and restaurants. Smoking is allowed. He has no room for a separate smoking area and would lose too many customers if it was banned. He can't see that he has lost a lot of customers because of the smoking. There was a total of 14 people there on Thursday night, certainly not packed. Of the 14 there at least 8 smoked. Even with only 8 smokers there was a very smokey athmosphere. We want to go back again but until the smoking issue is resolved we won't be there. It's a pity because we like the club. |

We hate going to smokey clubs as it's not really fair on those that don't smoke. We tried this club last year and we're charged 10 euro for a small beer and , never mentioned a min spend as took our money straight away. The club itself was great though but the beer was cheap rubbish so we left and had to walk right over the bridge to get a taxi. May try again next week when we arrive as always give a club a second chance. |

We were in there last night, it was busy, but with the air extraction system we didn't find it smoky, there again, we were in the play rooms which are non smoking rather than the bar. The time we spent in the bar was fine, with great air conditioning. Love the fans and the air extraction in the play rooms, it was still Hot, Hot HOT though! |
