"Hello, we've booked to go with Monarch on Thursday to PDI, getting nervous that it's going to be cancelled.
Anyone else flying with them?"
we fly tuesday with them, as far as we understand the flights are still flying atm the ATOL licence only applies to package holidays not flight only. |

Was flying out with Monarch at the weekend!! Lucky to rebook from different airport but with Ryanair  hope everyone else manages to find new flights and a refund. |

If you try to go on Monarchs website it takes you to the Civil aviation authority for guidance. It says that if you booked a flight on or before 14th Dec 2016 you are ATOL protected and can claim soon. If not try your credit card.  |

Ffs what is it with the airlines, forget chasing monarch know ones getting through, rebook with any one asap chase monarch later, good luck, some might not even know so pass the word if u can xxxxxxxxx |

Oh dear, at least you've got rebooked.I suppose its a worry for those already abroad, 110,000, but arrangements are being made to fly them back, at the end of their holiday |

Just paid a extra 250 to still go out to Gran Canaria Saturday , got to make our way to East Midlands now and then re arrange transfers . Gutted but you only live once no way was we going to miss our holidays ! |

Two years on the trot now ffs. Still we have an extra day in GC but paid 3 times the amount for flights.
They should really do something about all there companies going bust and ripping people off. |

Try airbnb .there are lots of rooms, and boats just fir one night at very good prices.

The Hotel should honour your booking, as you have paid for the room, they need to chase monarch for the money if they haven't been paid for it,
All the people on holiday now with Monarch do not have to vacate there rooms till the end of their holidays !
I might be wrong be sure that was what Martin the money man was saying on tele today. |

Thank you for your help. I will fly to Gran Canaria on Saturday. So unfortunately my hotel told me my booking was canceled. Maybe it work for people who already there... or for package holidays... I will go trough all info about moneyback tomorrow. Good news I still go to Gran Canaria.

We were due to fly with Monarch but due to a msg off some good friends
Re booked with Ryan air flying out of Birmingham now a day later than planned
Fortunately the accommodation was booked through Teletext will be emailing hotel to confirm we are still going |

We were booked with monarch thursday 5th from Birmingham. .. we now have ryanair from Birmingham tomorrow the 4th 12:10pm. .. had to ring hotel too add extra night. . They were very accommodating told us we can have same rate as when we booked direct with them and not to worry and pay the extra night on arrival.

To be honest we have never booked on line always through a travel agent and stayed in some fantastic hotels and never had a bad deal with full our half board, in fact most have been better deals than ppl who did book online in the same hotels x |

We were do to fly with monarch on Fri morning from birmingham to malaga but managed to 're book with Ryanair flying out Thurs night and got a full refund Costa here we come |
