We shall be in Beni Sept 30th - Oct 14 and will be visiting the new club in old town, CUPIDO. Any other couples( guys we can find)going to be around?  |

Sort of.
It seems that some fabbers used the area around the back bar in there as an informal meeting place so it gained a bit of a reputation.
When we go up to Benidorm we always pop in for an hour or two but as yet we have never bumped into another fabber in there. |

Café Benidorm is hit and miss...mainly miss unless you prearrange a meet and even then its doubtful.
The new club will be better if it takes off as its dedicated to swingers.
Its in old town

We went on Saturday night ..it was ok..there was a few in ..and we had a good time ...its very small but friendly...so far we've had six different couples offer to meet up for a drink and see if there's a connection and they have all been ..no showes! .. come on folkes .. life's too short to not be fucking about LOL.. We're intending to have a visit to Cupido on Thursday 26 October. We've arranged a group of 4 other couples & are having some fun in Benidorm from 25 October till 2 Nov so a trip or 2 to the new club is top of our "to do" list. |

Another couple already there said they went tonight and it was closed?

According to the website it opens Monday - Saturday so I think they just picked the wrong night.
While it doesn't specifically say "closed Sunday" it gives prices for every night of the week except Sunday.
Hope it is still open as we are planning to go again in a couple of weeks. |

Hello everyone, i guess i will have to explain. Yes, from now sunday is a day off as saturdays we are so full and close late.
The part about Lithuanians is quite ofensive, as to what it comes? Is that a problem? I am lithuanian, my husband is spanish, and the girl who runs the club is spanish. We are in Spain.
And the fact that we are located in Spain has the influence on how the club works. Single guys will always complain, all the clubs are used to that. But simply ask abouy the prices and the rights you would have in other alicante clubs - on a saturday the clubs charge singles 40-70 euros and in most you cant leave the bar area, oh and the additional drinks are at 10 euros, lets compare thatLets not forget it is a swinger place, which means its meant for couples, so there is no reason whatsover a single man should be let in the whole club, would make no sense. I know that it never rains to everyones like, but it would be nice if people compare before commenting. Thanks for your atention |

Firstly you've obviously not been in to the club. If you had you would know that the bar area is mixed and couples and singles can mix freely there. Yes there are two separate (couples only and mixed) play areas but that is normal in most Spanish (or anywhere else) clubs
25€ at the weekend is the cheapest entry fee for single guys in the area. All of the Alicante clubs are more expensive.
A fiver for a (Spanish measure) spirit with mixer in a club is far from expensive. Outside of happy hour you will pay that in any of the Benidorm show bars.
If the management were Martians it wouldn't matter a jot.
There are bars here where you can get in for free and a bottle of beer is 1€. Just don't pull your cock out at the bar or you could end up in jail.
First world problems Eh?

I will clarify it.
Single guys are allowed in the bar area AND the mixed play area just not in the couples only area.
The reason clubs have a couples only area is because some (not all) couples don't want to play with single guys.
Other couples do want to play with single guys and will use the mixed area.
on the night we visited the club a couple of weeks ago I can assure you that one single guy had a very good time. |

Some nights are busy others not, just the luck of the draw. However I would have thought you would have known the layout of the place in respect to play areas.
I know Benidorm has no other clubs and hasn't had one for many years, if ever. But there are plenty of other clubs in the area. Alicante alone has five plus at least two others on the Costa Blanca and we've been to nearly all of them. So maybe, just maybe, we do have a little more knowledge of clubs in the area and can assure you that Cupido Benidorm is by far the cheapest for single guys.
In fact if you know of one club in the whole of Europe that admits single guys at the weekend for less than 25€ including a drink then please tell us, because after 40 odd clubs in five countries we have yet to find it.
BTW my 14 years of having a house on the CB. 7 years living here full time and actually working in Benidorm for a while trumps your 8 years but let's not turn this into a pissing contest.
For years on here I've been reading posts lamenting that Benidorm has no swinger clubs, then one finally opens and all some want to do is moan that a gin and tonic (or whatever) is a fiver.
So go ahead run the club down as much as you can then maybe it will close.
Don't worry though you will still be able to drive half an hour down the road to Alicante and pay 50€ plus a tenner a drink after your first two then get a pull by the Trafico's on the way home.

Rather disappointing to see some negativity on here regarding the new club but we are certainly not deterred and very much looking forward to our week in Benidorm at the end of this month together with 2 other couples from the UK.
We intend to try it at least once although unfortunately may have to miss out on the busy Saturday night due to a Halloween party out of town that evening. |

So!
We arrive 11:30 ish! Chat to the lovely Eli and discover there were aome Brits (couples and singles) there from around 9:30. But... they had left before we arrived!
Clubs even in England don't get started that early on a Saturday evening! In Spain, even later!
We had fun anyway as quitta few people turned up around 1am.
Seriously though, Brits and other Europeans you need to start using this club as a late venue. Much needed in Benidorm but you have to use it like a proper club and expect a mix of Nationalities! We had fun anyway with English and Spanish participants!

We went quite a few times during September and it always after 11pm but we felt that it opened too early at 5pm and the closing times put us off going some nights because when it gets to 12am you start thinking its not worth going if they may close at 1am, I know they stay open way after the closing times if people are I the club but you sometimes feel you should leave if there is only a few people in at 1am, Maybe a closing time of 'till late' at weekends would be better than a defined closing time?
Apart from that its a great club, Benidorm was crying out for a swinging club but everyone needs to use it, and we agree it needs to be a late night venue as 1am is still early in Benidorm! |

This place is not very good for single guys!!
Yes it is very reasonably priced but when I visited all the couples were locked away in the couples area the whole time, I don’t understand why they just don’t open up all areas and have some lockable room.
I understand that on a different night there might be couples interested in single guys but the night that I visited there were none, there were about 6 couples and 10 single guys that night.
The staff were frenidly and understanding of the situation but I think it would be much better if the whole club was open to all. |

Did you venture to the rooms that adjoin couples areas? Like the dark room and the room which has a glory hole?
We went in couples side to start but Anne played with guys in the dark room and the glory hole room.
And then we went to the bar and chatted with guys and couples whilst two other couples went into the mixed zone and entertained some of the guys.
We ended up in there before the end of our evening.
If you make the effort you might find it a better outcome.

It just can't be.
From a single guys point of view then that would be fine. But and it is a very big BUT.
Single guys are not the only ones who go to clubs, so the place has to try to cater for everybody.
Some couples (like us) are more than happy for a single guy(s) to join us, others are not.
Many (probably most) couples like to swap with other couples and that is as far as they want to go. They don't really want single guys hovering around in the play area, so they get the choice of going to the couples area.
Take that away then a lot would just not bother going at all.
Nearly all the mixed clubs we have visited in Spain, Germany, Holland, and France (and it is a lot) have a couples only area. They have to unless they want to lose a sizeable chunk of their customers.
More often than not we would go to play in the mixed area but occasionally we prefer to stay couples only and like a club that gives us that option.
Which couples are in the club on a particular night and their preferences are just the luck of the draw.

Fair point about the couples but the night that I visited there were no couples interested in single guys, but as you say, and I am fully aware that’s the chance you take.
Most clubs that I have visited the single guys pay a premium price to support the couples entry, which is totally understandable, but I also feel that these clubs give single guys a fairer chance.
Looks like I might try another visit Thursday, as it sounds like there might be visitors there willing to give the single guys a break x |

Funnily enough you were messaging with us and we said we would be definitely going Saturday night. We said to you we will be there around midnight and you were happy with that.
However it seems you left around 11:30 which was before we arrived!
Bizarrely your single male friend messaged us too whilst you were in the club and asked if we were still coming. We replied yes definitely and said again around midnight! Yet you still all left way too early.
It seems many people in Benidorm also just like to pretend online and never show up as we had this from both single males and couples last weekend.
Anyway we went here Saturday and had a great time till 04:30 ish as more people arrived after us. The cost was 25 euros and two drinks which we find very reasonable compared to other clubs.
The owners are very helpful and friendly too as they even arranged a lift for us to their Alicante Cupido on Sunday night where we also had fun.
Then we returned here on Monday and as we had arrived early and were the first people there we sat chatting with the owners for a while and they even suggested we go into town for a while and they messaged us when others began arriving so we could return. They never charged us any extra for the two visits either!
The point is you cannot describe the club as rubbish if you arrive at the beginning of the night and leave before midnight without engaging with the owners and managers who are perfect hosts and will go out of their way to help you.
It's a small club but very friendly and has everything a club needs. We recommend it to anyone who wishes to try it out. Just don't expect a massive orgy to be taking place at 9pm! Never have we experienced a Spanish club being busy before 12/1am.

Ourselves and at least one other couple are driving up from Torrevieja to the club tonight.
Not sure what time we will get to the club but as it is midweek probably around 10 ish.
Just a note about some of the above comments.
We've been to lots of Spanish clubs over the years and at the weekends (especially Saturday) the start and finish is always very late. Many times we have surfaced from a club in daylight.
Depending on the club midweek can be a bit earlier but can also be hit and miss.
Hope it is a hit tonight but if not then hey ho we will still be back for the fiesta week. |

You can only say negative things in this forum thread it seems. Factor in that after agreeing to meet us at the club and using your single guy "friend" (who bizarrely seems to have only been verified multiple times by yoursleves) account to message again to ensure we were definitely coming last Saturday, you still decided to leave before midnight when we had clearly stated we would be no earlier in our arrival!
We had actually given you the benefit of the doubt so far but as you decided to send us a nasty personal email then it is obviously clear you are not serious players. Whether you even went to the club as a couple or even a couple at all anymore is even in question now.
By the way we have reported your email.

Cupido Benidorm is open every day except sunday, Monday to Thursday at 7pm and the entry is 20 euros with two drinks included, Fri and Sat at 8pm and the entry is 25 euros with two drinks. Do not have any promotion in mind as the price is fixed to be acessible for all.
