As you seem to feel you are part of the Swinging elite, please feel free to continue going to Come Back, after all, it's the place to be seen(to be seen). Obviously 50 yards, at the end of another corridor and a garden tent put Come Back head and shoulders above Imagine Bar.....but then you have your image to think about, don't you. You should hook up with Cityslickers out there, you'd get on well together....but then maybe you are members of his fan club already.
In fact, why are you slumming it in PDI at all? Shouldn't you be in Cap for the summer, with the rest of the elite?
The fact that Club owner's, from GC and UK, drink in Imagine Bar, speaks volumes for it. It's a work in progress, we've met some gorgeous people there and look forward to meeting more, this October. Tonny & Saskia are brilliant hosts....

We would have to say that - as GC regulars - we've never understood the fact that everyone raves about Imagine. There is no question that it is a much smarter bar than Comeback and that Sakia is a terrific host. However many times we have been in, it is never as busy as Comeback. Equally, the atmosphere in Comeback in our experience is always much more vibrant. Martin, Jesus etc work really hard at making sure everyone has their drinks and getting around chatting to everyone. We will be in Imagine in September, no doubt but will still spend most of our time starting our evenings in Comeback. |

I've checked out their profile and they look pretty hot and good fun to me !! Defo not "bitter"
I look on these Forums for some useful guidance on clubs and venues, and all opinions are valuable.
I am in GC 17 - 24 October and may well check out Imagine to see if all the praise is really justified"

Awwww thanks sweetie...such lovely words. It's a pity we won't be in Maspalomas at the same time as you because I could have shown my gratitude in the most amazing way.
We were staying at La Mirage in June and when we mentioned that we were planning to visit Imagine that evening there was universal horror!!
I guess we are elitist in our tastes...because the best people like the best places darlings. We are there again in October so please can all of the snobby, self-regarding beautiful narcissists please get on touch. We must stick together.

The general feeling on this thread seems to be very much in favour of Imagine so I think it would be daft not to take that into account. I have consistently found the bar empty when I have gone there, but maybe I have been unlucky so am quite prepared to give it another go on your strong recommendations.
I have arranged to hook up with several other people from this website whilst we are all in Gran Canaria so maybe Imagine is a good place to meet. If it really is so good we can stay there and if not then we can escape to the more lively bars and clubs. |

It's sad that they see us like that, but there it is!

Score Bar is a gay sports bar on the ground floor if I remember correctly? I'm not really a fan of sports bars, I find the screens distracting and I can't abide sportswear. X

South here. Just contacted a few lovely couples, including Danish & Norwegians we met over the last year in GC. One replied it's usually single men that try too hard. But sure stick to engineering imaginary bridges if it works for you |

We too have long term European friends. Several Dutch couples, German couples and Estonian. I don't think they would choose to hang out with us, if we were dull I think the people who say that, are probably cliquey, within their own groups and choose not to mix with the Brits. |

not sure why people feel the need to be rude about a bar? if you dont like it dont patronise it.
i like to have a drink in both comeback/and imagine bar as a single straight guy i have never had any problems in either bar. everyone is allways friendly and long may it continue to be so.

Same here, fingers crossed! Pretty much every flight cancelled so far has been short haul, only seen a couple medium haul on the lists so far. |

as before, 10th - 17th October, staying Maspalomas, near Golf Course. Will be in the dunes every day (golf club entrance, dunes in front of you), and on the strip in Maspalomas (19th hole), and then into PDI later. Happy to meet single guys and couples for social, and definitely looking for a lot more |
