Weather I find is often cooler and can be chilly at night... but over the last few years the weather has often been not what it normally is ...
I think there is the gay carnaval some time during october / November not sure of the dates so sometimes accommodation during this time maybe limited ... but remember also that that time of the year is the start of the season for the Europeans who start there long holidays to get away from the bad weather
Hope that you are the type to go to the clubs.. maybe you will pop in to 2x2 club or take a wander through the dunes and have some fun
